Story
Meet Charlie This sweet boy is 7 months old. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 10 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russell. We are unsure how big he will get but we don't think he will be more than 20 pounds. Charlie enjoys playing with his siblings and fosters Chihuahua. He especially loves to sit in his foster moms lap for cuddles. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. He is a puppy so he will need a patient family that can provide training so he can grow up to be a successful dog. Charlie would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. He is a small puppy so he will need a secure fenced in yard. Charlie is fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.

Story
5-year-old Salem is an 18-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart devoted to her people. This timid little Velcro girl is happiest curled up nearby, keeping you company while you work or relax. She’s house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, has excellent mealtime manners, and can be trusted to roam the house when you're away. Salem sleeps with her foster mom at night, loves hearing “Time to eat!” and “Outside?”, and is always eager to earn a cheerful “Good girl!” She’d thrive as an only dog or with a calm senior canine companion in a home where she’ll receive plenty of love and reassurance. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal shadow to brighten your days, Salem is ready to steal your heart. ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption. If cats are friendly, he will play with them as well. He loves toys and would make a fantastic companion. He may be a little shy in the beginning but like most puppies when they see that your sweet he opens up. He has the cutest dachshund ears that everyone loves! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and current on prevention. He still needs some help with potty training but a family with patience and consistency he will catch on quickly. He is crate trained. Cambria's Story ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Cambria is a young adult Chihuahua who weighs approximately 18 pounds. She is sweet, preferring a lap to any other resting place. Basking in the warm sun is another favored activity. This girl loves to soak in the Vitamin D! She can't make up her mind if she wants canine siblings so we think a home where she can just be spoiled would be her choice! She came from a house in South TX with a LOT of dogs so maybe she just needs a break! She is house trained (almost), and already knows sit. She is also working hard on learning down. Cambria is looking for a forever home that will keep her safe and loved. If that could be you she sure has a lot of love to give in return- If you live in DFW- apply now using the link in the comments. Story
Meet Daisy ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Daisy is a sweet older gal who is ready to find her forever home. She’s a certified food enthusiast—let’s just say the 3-second rule doesn’t apply in Daisy’s house! If it drops, it’s hers. But Daisy isn’t just about treats (though they are high on her list). She’s also a total lovebug who adores belly rubs, ear scratches, snuggles, and kisses. She’s incredibly well-mannered in the home—fully house-trained, non-destructive, and an all-around easy roommate. Daisy is smart, eager to please. While she may be a little cautious around new people at first, she warms up quickly. Daisy prefers the company of humans over other pets and would do best as the only dog in the home. She’s not aggressive, but she makes it politely clear to other pups that she values her personal space. She also has a keen eye for squirrels and rabbits and won’t hesitate to give chase, so a home without small pets like gerbils or rabbits is best. Health-wise, Daisy has a slight limp in her back left leg that’s noticeable when she runs, but she gets around just fine and stays comfortable with the help of a daily joint supplement. She also takes a low-dose, low-cost medication to manage mild local seizures. She has not had a seizure since she has been on the medication. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend who will greet you with tail wags and gentle affection (and help clean up any kitchen spills), Daisy might just be your perfect match. If you would like to meet Daisy, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Story
Lil Bit has got to be the sweetest and most mild mannered little senior dog. He is 11 years old and has the cutest, dignified, graying face. He weighs 17 lbs, has extra long legs, and extra tall ears. He's definitely a mix breed, but we just can't figure out what the mix could be. He came to Humane Tomorrow with his sister, Coco, when their person sadly passed away. Although they are comfortable with each other, they are not strongly bonded and can be adopted separately. Lil Bit has a passive nature and is happy to allow other dogs to lead the way. He will also be fine as an only dog, so he can get all the cuddles! He may be a ltitle reserved at first, but once he feels safe and secure, his super sweet love bug side comes out. Lil Bit is potty trained, not a big barker and walks well on leash. Because he is a senior, he qualifies for our half price adoption fee. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
