Story
Meet Charlie This sweet boy is 7 months old. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 10 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russell. We are unsure how big he will get but we don't think he will be more than 20 pounds. Charlie enjoys playing with his siblings and fosters Chihuahua. He especially loves to sit in his foster moms lap for cuddles. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. He is a puppy so he will need a patient family that can provide training so he can grow up to be a successful dog. Charlie would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. He is a small puppy so he will need a secure fenced in yard. Charlie is fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.

Story
Hi, I’m Cayley, an 8-week-old outgoing, adventurous chihuahua-pug mix girl who’s always ready for fun! I love zooming around, exploring new things, and playing with my siblings. I’m the daredevil of the group—confident, curious, and full of puppy energy. I’m just starting my training journey, so I’ll need help with house, crate, and leash training as I grow. I would do best in a home ready for all things puppy—playtime, patience, and lots of love! A home with another friendly dog or an active family would be a bonus. Ready for a tiny bundle of bold personality? I’m your girl—let’s make life an adventure together! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Aubree, an 8-week-old sweet, slightly shy chihuahua-pug mix girl who enjoys gentle cuddles and quiet playtime. I love soft toys, snuggling close, and watching the world from a safe spot before jumping in. I’m just beginning my training, so I’ll need guidance with house, crate, and leash skills. With a little patience, I’ll blossom beautifully. I would do best in a calm, loving home where I can build confidence at my own pace—maybe with a gentle dog friend or a family who’s home often. Looking for a tender little heart to grow with? I’m your Aubree-dorable match! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
12-week-old Klein is a playful, cuddly little fawn pug mix with adorable apricot highlights and tiny black spots on his tail. This growing puppy loves tug-of-war, fetch, toys of every size, and wrestling with his foster brothers before curling up for snuggles. When playtime ends, Klein is happiest right beside his people. He is doing wonderfully with crate training and sleeps all night in his crate without accidents. House-training is a work in progress, and he’s already learning a great potty routine. Klein is respectful with other dogs, loves children, and would thrive in an active home with people or pups ready to play and give him lots of attention. Like any puppy, he’s still learning not to nip during play. Klein is ready to wiggle, wrestle, and snuggle his way into your heart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
Meet Daisy ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Daisy is a sweet older gal who is ready to find her forever home. She’s a certified food enthusiast—let’s just say the 3-second rule doesn’t apply in Daisy’s house! If it drops, it’s hers. But Daisy isn’t just about treats (though they are high on her list). She’s also a total lovebug who adores belly rubs, ear scratches, snuggles, and kisses. She’s incredibly well-mannered in the home—fully house-trained, non-destructive, and an all-around easy roommate. Daisy is smart, eager to please. While she may be a little cautious around new people at first, she warms up quickly. Daisy prefers the company of humans over other pets and would do best as the only dog in the home. She’s not aggressive, but she makes it politely clear to other pups that she values her personal space. She also has a keen eye for squirrels and rabbits and won’t hesitate to give chase, so a home without small pets like gerbils or rabbits is best. Health-wise, Daisy has a slight limp in her back left leg that’s noticeable when she runs, but she gets around just fine and stays comfortable with the help of a daily joint supplement. She also takes a low-dose, low-cost medication to manage mild local seizures. She has not had a seizure since she has been on the medication. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend who will greet you with tail wags and gentle affection (and help clean up any kitchen spills), Daisy might just be your perfect match. If you would like to meet Daisy, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Story
We are so excited to introduce you to Dexter aka Dex! BASICS: 9.5 pound blond chihuahua; we think around 1.5 years old, 90% potty trained; sleeps through the night in foster's bed with no accidents (he’s a GREAT sleeper); leash trained; fine with men and women; needs a slow introduction to larger dogs: kids over 6 should be ok, as long as they are gentle with him. PERSONALITY: Dex is where “long walks on the beach” and “snuggled up by the fire” meet. He is a snugglebug and he LOVES to be outside!! Every goose, duck, egret, wood duck, hummingbird, or squirrel that talks within his hearing distance is fascinating to him! When he isn’t succumbing to his nature addiction, he is learning how fun it is to run zoomies, then take a long nap. He just started showing signs of wanting to play in the last 2 days so we are still learning how he prefers to play. He barks a bit but only when he feels it is really necessary and he does several warm-ups (LOL) before the actual bark so we have time to check things out and correct to avoid him being a nuisance. CONSIDERATIONS: Dex has been through a lot, so he will need time to adjust to new people, house, and schedule. He loves to make eye contact and needs physical touch regularly. He needs a lot of security and reassurance of that security so any correction must be gentle, he needs to be eased in to being left home alone, and he needs to be in a calm household with someone who can take him out to keep him socialized while knowing the boundary between uncomfortable and overwhelmed. Dex may have a bit of a learning curve in his new home, but he is so worth the time and effort! Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Frida Pawlo is cuteness to the max! She is larger than she looks in her pics, weighing in at 32 lbs. We have no idea what breed mix she is, so the Chihuahua/Shiba Inu mix is just our best guess and probably wrong! Frida was found as a stray, wandering the streets, dirty and hungry. She jumped right into the car of a good Samaritan stopping to help her, and that Good Samaritan is now fostering her. Foster mom says that Frida is a super friendly, cuddly, and a fun girl! She gets along with the resident dogs and cats. She "sings" when she's excited after getting good pets or before a meal. Frida is very food motivated! She loves to cuddle under blankets, go on car rides, or just chill out on her own. She sits on top of the couch like a cat, but also likes to lay in her crate with the door open. Frida Pawlo is full of personality and deserves a safe, loving home off the streets! Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Meet little boy Jax! He was born on December 5th, 2025. He has been in a wonderful foster home where he has been growing and learning how to be a good dog. His mom is a Chihuahua / Pomeranian mix and dad is unknown but likely a Chiweenie/ Jack Russell mix. Based on his current size we think they will stay under 20lb since his mom is only 15lb. Jax loves to cuddle and. follow his foster mom around the house. He makes a. wonderful companion. His soul is so. pure and joyous. He can be a little shy and timid in new situations but with a little bit of time his personality shines though. Who ever adopts this adorable little boy will be so lucky. Jax is good on a leash and enjoys walks. He is also good with other dogs. He loves to play and even go to the dog park. He also has been exposed to kids 5 and up and loves to play with them. He is create trained. He is almost fully potty trained but accidents may still happen since he's a puppy. Jax is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Magnolia Animal Rescue will cover his neuter when he is 6 month old with one of our approved vet partners. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.
