Story
Meet Charlie This sweet boy is 7 months old. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 10 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russell. We are unsure how big he will get but we don't think he will be more than 20 pounds. Charlie enjoys playing with his siblings and fosters Chihuahua. He especially loves to sit in his foster moms lap for cuddles. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. He is a puppy so he will need a patient family that can provide training so he can grow up to be a successful dog. Charlie would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. He is a small puppy so he will need a secure fenced in yard. Charlie is fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.

Story
12-week-old Klein is a playful, cuddly little fawn pug mix with adorable apricot highlights and tiny black spots on his tail. This growing puppy loves tug-of-war, fetch, toys of every size, and wrestling with his foster brothers before curling up for snuggles. When playtime ends, Klein is happiest right beside his people. He is doing wonderfully with crate training and sleeps all night in his crate without accidents. House-training is a work in progress, and he’s already learning a great potty routine. Klein is respectful with other dogs, loves children, and would thrive in an active home with people or pups ready to play and give him lots of attention. Like any puppy, he’s still learning not to nip during play. Klein is ready to wiggle, wrestle, and snuggle his way into your heart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
5½-month-old Gil is a playful, fawn puppy with a Velcro heart and enough love for everyone he meets—people and dogs alike. He loves cuddling, romping with his puppy foster buddy, and carrying around his favorite stuffed toys and bones. Gil is about 90% house-trained, uses a dog door, has excellent mealtime manners, and is making great progress as he learns all the puppy basics, including leash walking. He sleeps happily snuggled up with his foster family and canine friends. Gil would thrive with a family that’s home often and ready for all the fun of puppyhood. Older children or dog-savvy kids would be ideal while he learns not to play quite so enthusiastically. Looking for a best friend to grow up with? Gil is ready to steal your heart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Story
3-year-old Kenobi is a playful, affectionate fawn boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. He enjoys cuddles, squeaky toys, chew toys, mini tennis balls, walks, and being included in whatever his family is doing. Kenobi is eager-to-please and happiest when he’s close to his humans. He is house-trained, crate-trained, dog door proficient, and walks perfectly on a leash. Kenobi prefers not to share treats or meals and appreciates space at mealtime. While he gets along well with dogs and enjoys canine companionship, he would truly thrive as an only dog where he can relish all the attention. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, especially men, but patience and gentle introductions help his sweet personality shine. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who will be your shadow, cuddle buddy, and adventure partner, Kenobi is ready to steal your heart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
Meet Rainey Can I be the apple of your eye? The queen of your castle? Or maybe your valentine? My name is Rainey and I am looking for a forever home! I would love a home where I can sit in your lap and be the lap dog I want to be. I love, love, love my foster family but I would prefer not to have to share the snuggles with my other fur buddies! I do like my smaller buddies better than the larger one here in MY house. Oh, did I tell you that besides being lovable that I'm loyal to "my person"? I weigh 13 lbs and am just over 2 years old. I am going to be a fabulous companion dog for someone and if you are home more often than not that's even better because i love my people! When I'm not getting my loving from my people I like to chase the ball to get a little exercise. Oh and I love to get under the covers at night and sleep at my foster Mom's feet! Meet Daisy ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Daisy is a sweet older gal who is ready to find her forever home. She’s a certified food enthusiast—let’s just say the 3-second rule doesn’t apply in Daisy’s house! If it drops, it’s hers. But Daisy isn’t just about treats (though they are high on her list). She’s also a total lovebug who adores belly rubs, ear scratches, snuggles, and kisses. She’s incredibly well-mannered in the home—fully house-trained, non-destructive, and an all-around easy roommate. Daisy is smart, eager to please. While she may be a little cautious around new people at first, she warms up quickly. Daisy prefers the company of humans over other pets and would do best as the only dog in the home. She’s not aggressive, but she makes it politely clear to other pups that she values her personal space. She also has a keen eye for squirrels and rabbits and won’t hesitate to give chase, so a home without small pets like gerbils or rabbits is best. Health-wise, Daisy has a slight limp in her back left leg that’s noticeable when she runs, but she gets around just fine and stays comfortable with the help of a daily joint supplement. She also takes a low-dose, low-cost medication to manage mild local seizures. She has not had a seizure since she has been on the medication. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend who will greet you with tail wags and gentle affection (and help clean up any kitchen spills), Daisy might just be your perfect match. If you would like to meet Daisy, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Story
Meet Jane! 🐾 At just two years old, Jane is finally getting the chance to experience something many dogs take for granted: being part of a loving home. This adorable Chihuahua/Terrier mix is discovering the world with wide-eyed wonder, and it's a joy to watch her make up for all the puppyhood she missed. Jane absolutely loves other dogs and would happily spend her days playing with canine friends and every toy she can find. Her favorites, though, are giant floppy stuffies that are almost as big as she is. Watching her proudly carry them around is guaranteed to make you smile. When playtime is over, Jane transforms into a champion cuddler. She loves curling up close to her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. She's also working hard on her housetraining skills and making great progress, though she'll still need a family willing to provide a little guidance and consistency as she learns. Jane is essentially experiencing puppyhood for the first time, complete with curiosity, excitement, and a lot of learning along the way. She has a sweet, loving personality and a remarkable ability to steal hearts wherever she goes. If you're looking for a playful companion, a dedicated snuggle buddy, and a dog who will blossom with love and patience, Jane may be the perfect match for you. ❤️🐶

Story
Natasha is a six year old, 8 lb, Chihuahua mix. She looks like a Deer-Head Chihuahua, maybe with a small mix of Pomeranian. She is a pretty little girl, with a lovely greyish brown coloring, kind of like taupe, and soft eyes to match. Natasha's former person is having health issues and can no longer keep her, so Humane Tomorrow promised we would find Natasha another great home. She is in excellent health due to the care she received in her previous home. Natasha is a very sweet little dog, but it may take her a little time to warm up to new people, which is understandable after the changes she has been through. She gets along great with the other small dog in her foster home, but she would also do just fine as an only dog. She also does well with the foster's 8 year old grandson, but he is used to meeting lots of new dogs. Natasha will do best in a home with kids at least 10 years old. She also needs a calm, quiet home where her people are home most of the time. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
