Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hello, I’m Bella! I’m a 6-month-old female Jindo mix, weighing a petite 10 lbs. I may be small, but my story is one of resilience and hope.  I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, where my future was uncertain. Thanks to the dedication of compassionate rescuers, I’ve been given a second chance to find a loving family who will cherish me for the rest of my life.  I’m a playful, curious, and loving little girl who’s ready to explore the world with you. Whether it’s a walk in the park, a cuddle on the couch, or a fun game in the backyard, I’m always eager to be by your side. I get along well with other dogs and love meeting kind, gentle humans of all ages.  At just 6 months old, I’m still learning about the world and discovering new things every day. With patience, kindness, and a little guidance, I’ll blossom into the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.  I’d love a home where I can feel safe and adored. As a rescued dog, I may need some time to adjust to my new surroundings, but with your support, I’ll thrive. To help with my transition, we recommend working with our experienced pet rescue trainer.  My adoption fee is $1,195 (tax-deductible and supports future rescues) and includes: Spay, DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations, Deworming and Heartworm testing, Microchip, Boarding fees, health certificate, and transport from Korea to Seattle.  For my safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.  By adopting me, you’re not just changing my life—you’re helping Ginger’s Pet Rescue save more dogs like me. Your support enables this 501(c)(3) nonprofit to continue rescuing and rehoming dogs in need.  Email admin@gingerspetrescue.org to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to support veterinary care at Greenwood Vet are always welcome and help make rescues like mine possible.  If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with a big heart and an even bigger future, I might just be the one for you. Let’s start our new adventure together—I can’t wait to meet you!January 8, 2025, 4:11 am

You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. Story
Hi I’m Bunny. I’m an 8-month-old Jindo mix boy, and I weigh about 10kg—smaller and daintier than most Jindos. People always say I have the purest eyes, but the world still feels a little big and unfamiliar to me. I didn’t get to grow up the way most puppies do. When I was about 3 months old, I was taken to a shelter with my siblings. Instead of learning about the world and playing with humans, I spent my early months behind metal bars, watching the world from a distance. That’s why new places, new sounds, and new people sometimes make me nervous. But… I’m changing. At the training center, I was so shy at first. I would sit quietly, just watching, unsure of what to do. But after a few days, I started wagging my tail when I saw my trainers. I even follow them around for treats and nudge them for pets. Once I trust you, I have so much love to give. I just need someone patient enough to help me feel safe. People always tell me I’m adorable and unique-looking, different from most Jindos. But I hope you don’t choose me just for that. I need someone who understands that love, for me, takes time. At first, I might not come running to you. I might not sit beside you right away. But if you wait for me, if you give me time, one day I’ll come to you on my own—and when I do, it will mean everything. I get along really well with other dogs and love playing with them. I don’t start fights, and I know how to enjoy myself with friends. But with humans, I need a little more time and patience. I’m still learning about potty training—right now, I go outside three times a day, and I’m slowly getting into a routine. I also need extra safety precautions for walks because loud noises scare me, and my strong Jindo instincts might make me try to run back to where I feel safe. Until we build trust, I’ll need a secure double leash and harness when we go outside. I know I might not be the easiest dog at first. But if you choose to wait for me, believe in me, and love me just as I am, I promise I will give you my whole heart in return.

Story
Hello there. My name is Taemi, and I’m a 3-year-old Jindo mix girl. My story started in a scary place—I was found near a highway tollgate and ended up in a city shelter, waiting for a fate I don’t want to think about. But then, someone gave me a second chance, and now I’m here, hoping to find my forever family. I’ll be honest—I’m a little shy at first. When I meet new people, I like to take my time to observe and understand them. But I promise, I’m not overly fearful. If you’re patient and let me come to you, I’ll soon feel safe enough to let you pet me. And once I trust you, I’ll even roll over and show you my belly—it’s my way of saying, “You’re my person.” I’m a quiet and gentle soul. I rarely bark, and I prefer a calm, peaceful environment. My energy level is on the lower side—I enjoy spending time indoors, resting in my cozy spot. I don’t mind being alone sometimes, but I also love sharing quiet moments with someone I trust. I get along well with children and other dogs. I don’t mind little ones running around, and I never show aggression. With other dogs, I’m polite and friendly, though I don’t always feel the need to play. I especially like smaller dogs and will approach them with gentle curiosity. As for cats, well… I’m still figuring them out. When I met one indoors, I didn’t really pay much attention. But outside on a walk? Hmm, I do get a bit curious. Speaking of walks, I enjoy them! I don’t rush or pull—I prefer a slow, relaxed pace, taking in all the scents and sights around me. I also do most of my potty business outside, and I rarely have accidents indoors. I know I’m not the type to run up to you, tail wagging like crazy. But if you’re the kind of person who understands that love sometimes takes time, I promise I’ll be worth the wait. I dream of a home that is peaceful and steady, with someone who will be patient with me as I learn to open my heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, quiet, and loving companion, I’d love to be your girl. Let’s take things slow together, and I’ll show you just how much love I have to give.
