Hi, I'm Bambi! I'm a sweet and spunky girl who loves nothing more than being close to my people. Whether it's jumping into your lap for a snuggle or sitting by your side, I'm all about sharing the love. Originally from Texas, I've recently made my way up to the cooler climes of Minnesota and I'm loving it here! I just got a fresh haircut, so I'm looking extra cute these days. Now, I have to confess, I'm not a fan of my kennel, but that's okay! When I'm left alone, I'm perfectly content to just nap and relax—I won't get into any mischief. Occasionally, I get a burst of energy and love to run around in a fit of the zoomies. It's a great way to tire myself out, and then it's back to more napping! I get along great with other dogs, no matter their size, and I'm pretty cool with cats too. I'm also potty trained, so we can skip the basics and jump right to the fun stuff. I can't wait to bring joy and lots of cuddles to my forever home. ##2017814##

Rev is the sweetest dog. She is 16 but in great shape, no health issues. She jumps onto the bed and couch, chases bunnies and squirrels at times… but is mostly a lap dog. Loves to snuggle and sit on your lap or next to you. I have relocated and do not have the capacity to care for her unfortunately. Someone who is home a lot or works out of the home would be a good fit for her. She is so loving and is a great companion.

I'm a very handsome Miniature Poodle, and I'm discovering the joys of comfort and love in my foster home. Each day brings me more confidence, and I'm eager to share my overflowing love with a special someone—maybe that's you! I am a bit timid, sudden movements, commotion, and loud noises still make me a bit uneasy. However, I'm getting better at facing these fears every day. When foster mom is still, I'm all about those loving pets and cuddles. But if she's on the move, I keep my distance—I even bolt if she walks toward me. I know commands like "outside" and "stop," and leash and potty training are still on my to-learn list. I'm 95% potty trained, especially with a consistent routine. A fenced yard is a must for my adventurous spirit. I'd love to have a canine companion to show me the ropes, help me 'dog' properly, and boost my confidence. We're working on some manners, and my foster pals are excellent teachers. Walking on a leash needs some practice, and a confident pal by my side would be perfect. Despite being easily startled and a bit hand-shy, I've found joy in playing with toys, furry friends, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. I'm all about giving kisses, nibbling fingers, and enjoying ear scratches. Zoomies are my specialty, especially in the fenced yard or on the stairs. I've got some manners to polish up, like waiting for my turn and distinguishing between toys and household items – hee hee! I really am a sweet boy who is simply looking for the patience, unconditional love, and security that I SO richly deserve from my own fur-ever family! Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs.   I’m fairly new here but have been gaining confidence by the day!  As with most dogs, when I first meet someone, I’m a little shy and timid.  I’m really curious inside and want to be near so it’ll just need a bit of time to know that you’re a safe space for me.  I’ve been learning about trust and now I’m more apt to stay put than run, when approached.  Once I’m picked up I just melt right in for love.  That’ll likely be my personality all the time once I know you’re my people.  I’ve just started sleeping on my foster’s leg and inching my way up to hopefully a lap soon. In my spare time I enjoy eating and playing with other dogs.  I’m trying hard to follow along and go potty outside but as close as I am to getting the hang of it, I might need a little transition time to learn it at my forever home too. I do well in the kennel and am working on going inside on command.  Won’t that be a neat trick?! I do need a fenced yard in my forever home. When it is time to put on a leash and harness, I get worried. We are practicing how to stay put nicely to put on a harness without bolting.  HAHA  I’m tricky like that.  I haven’t really had any true leash walking experience so that’s something we can practice.  I do know the command for “stay” which is what I’m told when they want to wrangle me in the harness.  I have been snarky with some of the other dogs here when it comes to my food.  I have to tell them to buzz off, that it’s mine.  That seems to be all it is, as I’m not aggressive.  I can be an only dog too if you’d like.
