Lemon is a sweet, friendly, and fun-loving girl who loves being around people and other dogs! She has a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. Whether she’s snuggled up beside you, stretched across your lap for some extra cuddles, or playing in the yard, Lemon is happiest when she’s near her favorite humans. Lemon is an active girl who enjoys walks of 1–2 miles and exploring the great outdoors. She may pull a little at the beginning of a walk, but she settles into a nice pace once she gets going. She can also get overexcited when passing people and other dogs, sometimes barking and pulling on her leash. She seems eager to say hello to everyone! With patience, guidance, and continued training, she can work on making those encounters calmer and more manageable. At home, Lemon likes to keep an eye on things. She may bark out the window at people passing by or alert you to squirrels in the yard. Speaking of squirrels, Lemon loves a good backyard adventure! She enjoys running around, chasing squirrels and bunnies, and sniffing out all the interesting scents they leave behind.
