Story
Meet Charlie! Charlie is a handsome 3 year old Cocker Spaniel mix who is ready to find his forever family! This sweet boy is great with kids and other animals and would make a wonderful companion. He is fully housebroken and crate trained. With a gentle leader, he does well on leash. Charlie does have a preference when it comes to his canine friends - he would do best as the only dog in the home or with a gentle, submissive female dog. He would prefer NOT to live with male dogs. Charlie has so much love to give and is looking for someone who will appreciate his sweet personality and give him the forever home he deserves. He loves to ride in the car and snuggle up on the couch to watch movies or take a nap! If you're looking for a loving, handsome boy to be your new best friend, Charlie may be your perfect match! Could Charlie be the one that you've been waiting for? Apply to meet him today!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Dakota. My owner is going into care and can't take me with her so she asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am good with kids and cats. The CSAC volunteer says that I am happy, outgoing, friendly, and affectionate. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. .DOB 12-28-2024 Fuzzy, happy and sweet. This gorgeous little girl is ready for her home and family. Up to date on shots and all medical. Colette is social, loves to play and gets along with everyone. Colette will be around 25 pounds as an adult, she is spayed, heartworm negative and is on ProHeart6 heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is 750.00, transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
