Story
Luna came to us in heat and we wanted to wait to make sure that she was not pregnant before taking her to the vet to get spayed. We took her for her spay appointment and were informed that she had "four little peanuts inside". We are so thankful that they were not aborted as they are the most precious little smart, healthy, happy, playful, adorable puppies of the year! They are fully litter box trained and/or go outside to do their business.. But it is wonderful during bad weather to have them litter box trained and not have to mess with puppy pads. They have had all of their vaccines and are fully vetted and ready for a great home! Call 606-783-9750 for more info. strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9

ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! ADOPTED! MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Ella, and I just arrived at CSAC. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am a little timid because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. I will need time to trust people who want what is best for me and are not going to hurt me. That is something I have not experienced so far in my life. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. My name is Blue, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. The best home for me has people who have dog experience. I need a calm home with a fenced yard so I can run and play. I like riding in a car, but I am not fond of meeting other dogs when on a leash. I get scared and over react. I am not good at meeting strangers so I need an owner who can make the best decisions for me when people come to visit. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. My name is Zoey, and I just arrived at CSAC from a shelter. I was a stray dog so not much is known about my past. The CSAC volunteer says that I am sweet, affectionate and loved all of the attention that I was receiving at the vets. She also said that I am friendly, outgoing and gentle. I climbed right into the car and slept during my freedom ride. I do have a cataract in my right eye. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished pet. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hello, my name is Rollie. My owner was moving and could not take me with her so she asked CSAC to help find me a new home. I am a special needs dog. I will walk and run in circles. The best guess is that I was born this way. If I am really focusing on something, I can walk in a straight line. When I am anxious or excited, I will circle. I have glaucoma. My right eye had to be removed, and I get drops in my left eye. I am house trained and crate trained. I have lived with cats but not other dogs. I love to play with toys, swim and explore. I should be in a home with a fenced in yard because I could trip up people with a leash. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with the CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. Hope to see you soon. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Comet Sweet senior Comet is safe, loved, and finally getting the care he deserves Comet’s story began with heartbreak — he was cruelly thrown from a moving car. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan witnessed what happened and stepped in to save him before the person responsible could be identified. Today, Comet is FIERCELY LOVED and on the path to healing. Estimated to be around 13 years old, Comet is a gentle, affectionate senior who truly loves everyone he meets. He’s been groomed and is feeling much more comfortable as he recovers. Comet is currently being treated for a bacterial infection and has started medication. The good news continues — his bloodwork looks great, and the vet is not concerned about his bumps. Comet will be getting a dental and neuter on 1/9/2026. Despite everything he’s been through, Comet’s spirit shines. He is incredibly sweet, calm, and loving, and he would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to give a deserving senior the safe, cozy home he’s always deserved. Comet is ready for his next chapter — one filled with kindness, comfort, and forever love.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.100% of every adoption fee is used to rescue and care for homeless animals.  Please consider donating to help us more rescue animals.
