We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? It is when you bring an SCR dog into your home and heart for the rest of their precious lives and the rescue covers all the medical bills until they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Katy and Yuan Bao were very loved. But their owners fell on hard times and relinquished them to us. They are both 10-11. Katy is very sweet and lovable. But she is diabetic. This is very easy to manage as it only requires a shot 30 minutes after her breakfast. She walks well on a leash, is quite spry and active for her age. She enjoys playing with toys. She needs to be adopted with Yuan Bao. Can you give these two beauties their perfect home to live out their lives together? We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? It is when you bring an SCR dog into your home and heart for the rest of their precious lives and the rescue covers their medical bills until they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Yuan came in with Katy after they were relinquished by owners who were going through hard times. They were very loved. Yuan is great with people- very very affectionate. He will play with toys, he walks well on a leash. But he is very protective of Katy and his people. At 10-11 years old it was his job to protect her. He will chase down small animals and become extremely protective if he feels Katy or his person is in danger. We do not suggest he is in a home with other animals or small children. He does need to be together with Katy. He is a lover that Katy used as her protector for their life together. If you can give them a home together where Yuan can love you and take care of Katy you will truly be their heroes. Charlie turned 11 years young on February 16th and would love nothing more than to celebrate by finding his forever home. It’s honestly surprising this gentle soul wasn’t born on Valentine’s Day, because Charlie is a true lover through and through. He’s a beautiful, content, happy-go-lucky guy who adores all people and dogs. Charlie enjoys lounging in the sunshine, spending time alongside his human companions, and soaking up the simple joys of life. One of his favorite things? Being brushed — he will happily melt into every bit of attention you’re willing to give. Charlie is currently unneutered and working on shedding a little extra love he’s been carrying (he weighs about 90 lbs), but his heart is already perfectly sized. He came to SCR due to a heartbreaking situation when his lifelong owner had to be permanently hospitalized. He was deeply loved, and SCR made a promise to his owner to find Charlie the very best home possible for such a sweet soul.
