Story
We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? It is when you bring an SCR dog into your home and heart for the rest of their precious lives and the rescue covers all the medical bills until they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Katy and Yuan Bao were very loved. But their owners fell on hard times and relinquished them to us. They are both 10-11. Katy is very sweet and lovable. But she is diabetic. This is very easy to manage as it only requires a shot 30 minutes after her breakfast. She walks well on a leash, is quite spry and active for her age. She enjoys playing with toys. She needs to be adopted with Yuan Bao. Can you give these two beauties their perfect home to live out their lives together? If you're interested in this bonded pair, please complete an application at ww.collie.org.
We'll also keep you updated on Yuan Bao's adoption status with email updates.

We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? It is when you bring an SCR dog into your home and heart for the rest of their precious lives and the rescue covers their medical bills until they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Yuan came in with Katy after they were relinquished by owners who were going through hard times. They were very loved. Yuan is great with people- very very affectionate. He will play with toys, he walks well on a leash. But he is very protective of Katy and his people. At 10-11 years old it was his job to protect her. He will chase down small animals and become extremely protective if he feels Katy or his person is in danger. We do not suggest he is in a home with other animals or small children. He does need to be together with Katy. He is a lover that Katy used as her protector for their life together. If you can give them a home together where Yuan can love you and take care of Katy you will truly be their heroes. If you're interested in this wonderful bonded pair, please complete an application at www.collie.org.

Story
Sage is a beautiful 10-year-old sable Rough Collie who still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves her walks, enjoys car rides (and even knows how to climb a ladder to get in!), and is great with stairs. This sweet girl is friendly with everyone — dogs, people, kids, and even babies — but she’s not a fan of cats. She adores tummy rubs, chatting with her people, and being part of the action. Sage came to us after her beloved owner passed away, and she’s now ready to find her next forever home filled with love and care. She’s recovering from some minor skin issues, so her adopter will need to help her stay comfortable with regular grooming, clean bedding, good nutrition, and lots of love. Sage is proof that age is just a number — she’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and loyalty to her next family. Is it you???? Story
Meet Rocky, the young and energetic pup with a big personality! Rocky is a friendly and affectionate dog who is always up for a good time. He's athletic and enjoys going on long walks or runs, but he's also content with just hanging out and cuddling up with his favorite people. He may be a little independent, but he's also a big softy at heart and can't resist giving kisses to his loved ones. If you're looking for a fun and loving companion, Rocky is the perfect pooch for you! All of our dogs are completely medically vetted and vaccinated, de-wormed, treated with flea & tick prevention medication, 3 & 4DX tested, microchipped and spayed and neutered. If interested in a Meet and Greet, please submit an Adoption Application through our ALMA website at: www.almarescue.org

Story
Cherie is a fun, spunky, smiley girl! She is ready for whatever adventure or challenge, and would thrive in a home that kept her training constant or provided regular mental stimulation. :) She is a very smart dog, and has a bursting personality when she gets to know you. She can be a little shy with strangers initially, but the most practice she gets, the better she gets. She is currently working on her social skills with other dogs and small humans, as she isn't the most comfortable and doesn't really know what to do with them. Overall, Cherie may benefit most from a home with adults, and adults and older/teenage children. We feel with proper introduction, she will do well with other dogs as well. :)
