Story
This handsome 2 year old Mahogany Sable collie came to us with his sister Butterscotch! He is spectacular! They are not a bonded pair as they were always kept separate. He is gentle and still a bit shy when you first meet him. But after all, he spent his whole life somewhere else. He absolutely loves to engage with people once he sees they are safe. Cat tested! Dog tested! He will be neutered this week and will be ready to go to his forever home. He is a doll! If you are interested in him please fill out an app asap! He will be in a home sooner than you can imagine! If you're interested in adopting Jack, please complete an application at www.collie.org.

Story
Katy and Yuan Bao were very loved. But their owners fell on hard times and relinquished them to us. They are both 10-11. Katy is very sweet and lovable. But she is diabetic. This is very easy to manage as it only requires a shot 30 minutes after her breakfast. She walks well on a leash, is quite spry and active for her age. She enjoys playing with toys. She needs to be adopted with Yuan Bao. Can you give these two beauties their perfect home to live out their lives together? If you're interested in this bonded pair, please complete an application at ww.collie.org.
We'll also keep you updated on Yuan Bao's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Yuan came in with Katy after they were relinquished by owners who were going through hard times. They were very loved. Yuan is great with people- very very affectionate. He will play with toys, he walks well on a leash. But he is very protective of Katy and his people. At 10-11 years old it was his job to protect her. He will chase down small animals and become extremely protective if he feels Katy or his person is in danger. We do not suggest he is in a home with other animals or small children. He does need to be together with Katy. He is a lover that Katy used as her protector for their life together. If you can give them a home together where Yuan can love you and take care of Katy you will truly be their heroes. If you're interested in this wonderful bonded pair, please complete an application at www.collie.org.

Story
Riley is gorgeous 4-year-old rough-coated sable mahogany collie. He is a strong-minded dog who needs an extremely savvy adopter…preferably someone who has worked with and/or trained dogs that feel they need to be in charge. Riley is unique in that he is very happy and loving with his people, yet also very protective. He should go to a home with no small children and no small animals. And it is highly recommended that Riley does not run free in a dog park and has minimum public walking exposure until he has more intensive training. Riley is totally house trained, and crate trained and would be wonderful in a home with an easy-going female dog who will help him feel secure. Riley would not only flourish but become a star collie with someone who has actually worked with and trained very smart alpha dogs. If you feel that you could be Riley’s forever person, please complete an application today!

Story
Irish is 1 year old and 45 lbs.  He walks on the leash and plays with all the other young dogs. He can be shy with new people and dogs but when he gets to know you, he's your loyal companion. Irish's best friend is Nala a medium sized Rottweiler mix.  He is playful with all sizes of dogs, and gentle with the small ones.  Nice and friendly with people. He even likes being carried like a baby! Great gentle disposition.  Watch his video--playing with Jingles, another gentle big puppy. Email your application, found on our website under the Adopt a dog tab, and plan to bring your entire family, including other dog/s, to meet him. *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see.
