Story
Rolly revels in having his belly rubbed while holding a tennis ball in his mouth! Still very much a puppy at the age of one, he’s 40 pounds of sweetness, friendliness and happiness once he feels comfortable around new people. Supremely loving towards his foster dad, he adores being the object of his attention, wants to be near him at all times, snuggling and cuddling, resting his head on him and sleeping on him. Blessed with the widest and warmest smile, Rolly also loves being outside, going for walks, runs and hikes, playing fetch and engaging with other equally friendly dogs. Passionate about PLAYING, he LOVES tennis balls and toys, particularly small plush toys, is, not surprisingly, motivated by toys and love, and currently knows “sit” and “no.” Never crated, at work on his puppy manners and house-training, Rolly relishes the idea of life in an extremely loving home, preferably with older children, that will polish his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him happily active fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.
