Story
Sadie, her 7 siblings, and her Momma were found living in a drainage ditch in Texas when the pups were just a few weeks old.  A woman fed them for a couple days until she was able to find a rescue to take them in.  The rescue in nursed the pups and Momma back to health for days.  It took a little while for Momma to realize they were finally safe.  Momma and babies were transferred here when they were old enough to do so safety.  They have now been vetted, fixed, and well socialized.  They are ready to find forever, loving families of their own! Momma Dottie is about 12lbs, and we don't know who dad was.  We are guessing the pups will be about 20-30lbs when full grown.  They are all incredibly sweet, loving, playful, and just absolutely perfect. Meet Nelson! This Collie mix is impossible to miss with his striking blue eyes and happy-go-lucky personality. After making the journey from a shelter in Kansas, Nelson is quickly learning that the good life is pretty great. Nelson is curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. He's a total rockstar on leash and loves getting out to explore and meet new people. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, a mountain hike, or a trip to your favorite brewery patio, this boy is happy just being part of the fun. He's also doing great with potty training and is making progress with crate training. He sleeps in his crate overnight like a champ, though he'd definitely prefer to be wherever his people are. Super smart, goofy, and incredibly sweet, Nelson is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing while stealing your heart at the same time. He's at the perfect age to continue learning, growing, and becoming your very best friend. Sweet, loyal 10 year old border collie mix in need of a new home. Rocky has lived in Boulder with his people for 10 years, since being adopted as a puppy. Sadly his parents have both gone into care and can no longer look after him. Rocky has up to date vaccinations, loves long walks and swims and is happy in the car. He gets mild separation anxiety and thunderstorm anxiety and sometimes nips ankles due to his herding instinct. He has never bitten. He gets along with neutered adult dogs but should not be loose around puppies or children. He is in need of an experienced dog owner who will help him lose some weight and enjoy his final years. Rocky knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. He’s a very loving, sweet dog who will adore his new owners.
