Story
Meet Puka Puka 🐾Puka Puka is a beautiful blonde girl with soft, floppy ears, a sharp mind, and a deeply loyal heart. She is very people-focused and forms strong bonds with her person. Out of all the puppies, she is the one who chooses closeness—curling up on the couch for naps and cuddles rather than settling on a dog bed.She is crate trained at night, confidently uses a doggie door, and thrives with routine and structure. Puka Puka loves to chew and will need appropriate outlets such as bones and durable toys to keep her happy and engaged. She is intelligent, observant, and enjoys having clear expectations.Puka Puka is selective with dogs. While she plays with her siblings, she has shown some early resource guarding behaviors around food and high-value treats and may growl if other dogs approach during these times. She can also become jealous when sharing attention, especially in close spaces like the couch. She has not been aggressive, but she communicates her boundaries clearly. Because of this, she would be happiest as an only dog in an adult household where she can receive focused, one-on-one attention. With the right match—an experienced, dog-savvy adopter who values companionship, consistency, and structure—Puka Puka has the potential to be an incredibly devoted, affectionate, and loyal best friend.

Story
Ollie is a 2.5MO puppy weighing about 12lbs.  We are guessing he will be about 45-60lbs when full grown.  Ollie ended up at the shelter with his sister when they were only a couple weeks out.  While they were found as "strays" it was clear they had been dumped at a pretty common dumping area in Kansas.  Ollie and his sister, Breezy,  are very lucky someone found them in time.   Ollie and Breezy are wonderful little puppies.  They are very social, happy, loving, and super smart.  They are making great strides on potty training already. They are doing great with the fosters kiddos and other dogs.  They love to romp around the house and are always curious to follow the foster around to see what she is doing.  They love to explore and learn new thing.  Once they have worn themselves out with fun activities they love nothing more than to snuggle up with their wonderful human fosters, or the other doggos in the home.  The fosters have been doing great with socializing Breezy and Ollie.  As long as they continue to learn from their forever families they will be wonderful, smart dogs. Story
Onyx is a sweet, affectionate puppy with a big heart and an even bigger enthusiasm for life. She loves meeting new people and greets everyone like a new friend. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite, and she’ll happily flop over for them any chance she gets. This playful girl enjoys spending time outside, exploring the world, and going for walks. She’s still learning her leash manners, but she’s eager to please and picks things up quickly with gentle guidance. Indoors, she settles nicely in her crate and has been doing well with pee pads. Onyx is the perfect mix of cuddly and energetic, a friendly, curious pup who’s ready to bond with her people and thrive in a loving home. She’ll make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her a bit of structure, playtime, and lots of affection. If you’re looking for a sweet, social puppy to grow with, Onyx might be your girl ##2642361##

Story
Hi! I`m Freya and I am an energetic young dog who is looking for an active home that loves getting out of the house for hikes, jogs, walks and playing. I enjoy meeting other dogs but I can be rambunctious and pushy with my friends so I`ll need to meet any dogs in the home at the shelter to make sure we are a good fit. I have a good history with older kids and would love a home with teenagers who will play with me. I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Finnagin, Border Collie mix, 1.5 yrs., 40 lbs. Finnagan is a little shy for just a second then is a friendly outgoing dog that was surrendered because his owner became ill and could no longer take care of him. He’s active and still acts like a puppy. Good with other dogs. We prefer a home with someone home most of the time and another young dog for him to play with. He’s always been with another dog.
