This charming pup is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, ready to embark on the next chapter of his life. Described as a good boy with a heart full of love and energy, Peabody thrives in the company of an active family who can provide him with plenty of attention and playtime. He's adept at navigating the ins and outs of home life, being house, crate, and doggie door trained. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he's known to get along well with female dogs. However, Peabody does have a tendency to engage in fence fights with other dogs in his vicinity, which may require some training and supervision to manage. Despite this challenge, his affectionate nature shines through, making him a delightful companion for the right family. We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young dog that needs our help. Stevie is the kind of pup who, once comfortable in her environment, snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her head on your shoulder breathing her warm breath. She's so sweet and so very loving and irresistible that you just can't help falling head over heels in love. This is the case unless a dog like Stevie is wandering terrifying city streets or is scheduled for euthanasia in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space, Farfel's Rescue received a plea from Rescued Pets Movement in Texas to save the life of Stevie, an 8 month old, 29 lb Smooth Collie / Australian Cattle Dog mix that is nothing but pure love! Shelter personnel fell in love with this pup's sweet energy and desire to please all those that are kind to her. We responded almost immediately that we'd be more than happy to accept precious Stevie into Farfel's Rescue. Stevie is such a perfect size and weight to be able to accompany her family just about everywhere a smaller-sized dog is welcome. This sweetie-pie will fit right in due to her great temperament and desire to please. Stevie is already starting to understand that kind and cooperative behavior makes great things happen in life. Our dream for this cuddly pup is a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes her for life. As Stevie becomes comfortable in her forever home, she will blossom and become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more she will shine with her accomplishments. Tulip is going to be an amazing family dog! She is a gentle girl whose breeds deceive the incredibly mellow disposition that she actually has. Little Tulip came down with us and was quite shy. She got over that at the foster home, and now loves to play with the other dogs in the house and enjoys getting pets, though she is still a bit shy out of the home. She is going to be a snuggler who follows your every command and loves you every day. She is gentle and goofy and is crate trained and house trained. We are working on her walking on a leash, but for now she feels most comfortable simply in the back yard. Tulip enjoys children almost more than anything; in fact, children are one thing that gets her tail wagging quickly, and feeling safe in a home. She does play and run, and is fine letting other dogs know when she wants the toy or is done playing, and then just chills out and is thrilled getting loved in a home. As she has been growing, she is getting long and lean, as seen in her new pics. She would love to be your partner and sleep on your feet all day long after a walk or excursion!
