My story is both heart-warming and heartbreaking, but I'm glad I found my way back to the rescue organization that can help me find the forever home I deserve. I can be a gentle and loyal companion who simply craves the love and attention that every dog deserves. Despite the neglect I experienced in my previous home,I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue. My shyness and caution around men is understandable, but with the right patience and care, I'm confident I will blossom into a wonderful family member. Here are a few key points about you that stand out: I am a loyal and humble companion who appreciates the simple things in life, like gentle pats and a calm voice. I may be a bit shy at first, but will warm up to people and become the heart of the home. I would do best in a quiet, loving environment, and would make a great match for older children or a veteran looking for a furry friend. Despite the neglect in my past, I have adjusted well since being returned to the rescue.  I truly believe that with the right forever family who is willing to give me the time, patience, and love I deserve, I will flourish. My husband has had Luna since she was a puppy. She has been a wonderful dog to us. She is obsessed with fetch and her favorite word is “ball”. She loves to curl up on the couch or in bed with us. Unfortunately she has not been too keen on our twins. Since they are toddlers and only getting more handsy and rambunctious, she has gotten more and more anxious around them. She would thrive in a childless home where she is the only pet and can be given the attention she deserves. Her ideal day would involve lots of throwing the ball and/or going on walks ending in snuggling on the couch.
