Story
Sadie is a 4MO adorable Mutt.  Sadie and her 3 siblings were found abandoned on the side of the road in Texas.  We are guessing she will be about 35-45lbs when full grown. We don't know how many of them there were originally, but unfortunately it's safe to assume there were others that didn't make it.  Once they were rescued they were brought to a local vet to get the proper care and support they needed since they were emaciated and dehydrated.  Once sadie and her siblings were healthy and stable, they made their way to our rescue here in CO where we are hoping they find families of their very own.  Here is what Sadie's foster Momma has to say about her: "This little pup is a bit shy at first but with treats and a few good belly rubs she’ll become your best friend! Once she’s comfortable with you, she won’t leave your side! Sadie’s a quick learner and is very treat motivated. She’s already learned sit and is doing really well with potty training. She sleeps through the night in her crate. We highly recommend having a crate for her at her new home. While she’d love to sleep with you, she has a very positive tie to her crate and we can tell it’s a place of security for her. Sadie is incredibly sweet and does well with other dogs. We’re working on walking a leash but she's doing great so far! She is loving and snuggly and it's been so fun to watch her learn how great humans and life can be when she isn't trying to survive on the side of the road." Meet Capri, the sunshine dog! Capri is the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. She absolutely loves people and has a warm, loving personality that makes her a joy to be around. When meeting new dogs, Capri can be nervous and may snap out of fear. She needs slow, patient introductions and time to feel comfortable. Once she gets used to another dog, she tends to relax and let go of some of her anxiety. She would do best with a dog who respects her space and isn’t constantly in her face. Capri enjoys getting outside for walks, and we’re currently working on improving her leash manners. She does very well with house training and rarely has accidents indoors, except occasionally when she has an upset stomach. Capri’s daily routine: Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. Dinner: 7:00 p.m. Favorite activities: Spending time with people and going for walks. Layla is guessed to be an approximately 2 year old Cattle Dog mix. She is a shy girl who is looking to learn what a warm, forever home feels like. She's sweet and eager to play, has a playfully silly and a bit mischevious side and loves to romp with other dogs, or take sweet pets from trusted humans. She did very well at a recent adoption event, and did amazing accepting pets from kids. She really would thrive in a home with a gentle chld she can pal around with! She's great meeting our shelter kitties, she came to us from a hoarding case in Oklahoma where she was found with all of her brothers and sisters. She does, however, need to learn some house manners like stealing things that are not dog toys and does seem to herd other dogs a bit when out playing once her instinct kicks in! She can be called off relatively easy, but it is definitely a trait you'll want to be aware of and will want to curb as soon as you can. So far, all of her siblings who came to us before her have done wonderfully adjusting to lives in safe homes. Apply for this beautiful, kind girl today

Meet Amor! She's an approximately 3.5-year-old, 52lbs mix (we think Australian Shepherd / Cattle Dog mix) with a beautiful face, a big smile, and the sweetest personality. She's spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Amor has plenty of energy for walks, sniff adventures, and any kind of play, but she's just as happy being your couch buddy. She's house trained, good in the car, free roam when left home alone, and she listens well to direction on leash. She knows sit, wait, and her walk cues, and she's currently learning lay down and paw. While her fosters work from home, she patiently rests nearby or entertains herself with a toy. Amor loves people and wants to be close to the ones she loves. Visitors are a bonus: with more people to love. She loves morning cuddles and snuggling up again before bed. Amor is visually impaired, though not completely blind. She navigates the world well with her excellent hearing, a little guidance, and trust in her people. In her foster home, she handles stairs and has mapped out the house and yard. She even plays fetch, using her nose to find the ball. She plays well with the dogs she knows at the shelter but finds meeting new dogs hard, so for now she would thrive as an only pet while she keeps working on her social skills which are coming along nicely. She's good with kids, though because of her vision, a home with older kids rather than infants would suit her best. She hasn't been tested with cats. Amor would love a home with a fenced yard where she can explore freely. She's a happy, loving girl who radiates sweetness, and she's ready for a forever home that will cherish just how special she is. 🐶✨

Apollo is a sweet, affectionate 6-year-old Lab and Blue Heeler mix who is looking for a loving family to call his forever home. He is house-trained and crate-trained, He is very affectionate, enjoys attention, and has a loving personality that makes him a wonderful family dog. He is good with cats and has lived around them successfully. He can also be good with dogs, but he is not very well socialized with other dogs and can feel challenged by them. Because of this, we believe he would do best in a home without another dominant dog. Any introductions to other animals should be done slowly. He is a smart boy who does have a few quirks that his new family should be aware of. If given the opportunity, he will get into the trash, but this is easily managed by simply keeping the trash secured or locking him up when you’re not home. He really is a great dog we just don’t have the time or resources to give him what he deserves anymore
