Yankee is an 8 month old male Collie / Lab mix who’s just as beautiful inside as he is out. With his sunny personality and sweet smile, he brightens every space he’s in. Yankee walks well on a leash, making walks around the neighborhood easy and very pleasant. This sweet friendly pup happily greets people, wagging his tail and always ready to make new friends. Yankee enjoys playing with toys or with his doggie pals in adjacent play areas, but he especially lovvvves getting to spend time with his human friends. Overall, Yankee is an absolute gem - loving, super sweet, full of heart - and just waiting to be discovered by his forever family. Could that be you? The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.January 27, 2026, 8:00 pm

Nala is just an adorable sweet little girl who arrived at the shelter on 1/15/26 and she is now ready to join a forever family. Nala is energetic, playful and eager to please. She learns quickly and already knows to sit and to lay down when instructed. Nala is dog friendly also. Nala is 6 months old and weighs 31 pounds. She is UTD on vaccines, spayed and will be microchipped when adopted. She has also tested negative for heartworms. Please stop by to meet this sweet girl in run 316, his ID # is 13861.
