Story
Dovi is a 3-month-old male Colllie/Shetie with fluff for days and a personality that’s already larger than life. This little guy is equal parts adorable, clever and curious about everything happening around him. Dovi is bright and eager to learn. He’s at the perfect age to start building great habits and will thrive with gentle guidance, playtime and lots of positive attention. Expect a pup who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s exploring the yard or supervising from a cozy spot nearby. With his soft coat, expressive eyes and happy puppy energy, Dovi is ready to grow up into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Right now, he’s just looking for a family to help him learn, play and become the very best boy he can be. ##2642950##

Story
Miss P is a beautiful Border Collie/ Lab mix. She is a middle aged girl, and is ready for her forever family! She is very dog friendly, and has a rough and tumble play style. She has never met a dog that she doesn&#39t like! Miss P is very food motivated and takes treats gently. She&#39s crate trained, house trained, and knows her basic commands. Miss P enjoys hunting for critters in the yard and chewing on her Nyla bones! Miss P would love a forever home with another dog and a fenced yard where she can spend time outside. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet girl, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 27, 2024, 12:00 pm

Story
Dingo is a 14-year-old purebred Australian Cattle Dog my family adopted as a puppy. He was a working dog who became my dad’s constant companion, traveling with him around Georgia while my dad worked as an independent insurance adjuster. Dingo is well trained, knows all basic commands, and was very active in his younger years, though age and hip issues have slowed him down. He’s calm now, enjoys being outside, and likes to stay near people since he’s hard of hearing. After my siblings and I moved out, Dingo lived with my dad until we lost him to cancer last year. A family friend has been fostering Dingo since then, but they’ve recently received a cancer diagnosis themselves, making it difficult to continue his care. Because of this, I’m trying to find Dingo a loving home where he can receive the attention and comfort he deserves in his senior years.

Story
Meet Betty White — no, not that Betty White… but just as unforgettable 🤍 Betty White’s story began in a way no puppy ever deserves. On 11/14/2025, she was found abandoned in a cardboard box in a gas station parking lot—just 4 pounds of the fluffiest white fluff you’ve ever seen, only four weeks old, sick with worms and parvo, and left behind like she didn’t matter. But Betty White is a fighter. The first week was touch and go, but she pushed through. As she grew stronger, hope grew too. With the holidays approaching, we started sharing her story, and families quickly expressed interest. She was going to be someone’s Christmas miracle. Then the bomb dropped. Due to irresponsible breeding, Betty White is a deaf double merle. Instead of giving up on her, we leaned in harder. Today, Betty White is healthy, thriving, and weighs 14 pounds at approximately 11 weeks old. She’s already working on leash walking, crate training, and learning sign language—and she’s incredibly smart, affectionate, and eager to connect. Betty White doesn’t see herself as “special needs.” She sees herself as a puppy who wants to love, learn, and belong. She will need a home that understands her needs and can give her the time, patience, and hands-on guidance she deserves. A home where she isn’t crated for long workdays, where she can be safely supervised, enriched, and included. A home that sees her not for her limitations—but for her incredible potential. She is safe and happy where she is now, but we know she would truly thrive in a home where she can be someone’s priority. If you—or someone you know—has room in their heart and home to fall deeply in love with a very special girl, Betty White is waiting.
