Meet Bud! Bud is a senior Collie mix with a beautiful coat and soulful eyes! This handsome boy is 55 pounds of quiet sweetness and gentle charm with endless amounts of love to give! Bud is a low-energy boy who enjoys a peaceful routine. He walks nicely on a leash, knows his basic commands, and is both house and crate trained -- making him an easy, comfortable companion for a calm home. Bud came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived among nearly 150 other dogs. Because of that, he didn't get the individual attention and socialization he deserved, and he can be a little skittish when meeting new people. But underneath that initial shyness is a tender, loyal heart just waiting to bond with his person. One thing that truly brings Bud joy is playing with other dogs. He feels most comfortable around his furry friends and loves spending time with them. A home with another friendly dog and a fenced-in backyard where he can safely hang out, explore, and play would be ideal for him. Bud can also live with cats, making him a wonderful option for a multi-pet household. With patience, kindness, and consistency, Bud truly blossoms. He doesn't need much -- just someone willing to move at his pace, focus on him, and show him what it truly means to be loved. I know somebody loved this dog! Found as a stray near an apple orchard, this gorgeous brown-eyed girl knew commands, was potty trained, and walks beautifully on leash… but nobody came for her. She has proven to be a goofy, playful, super affectionate and fiercely loyal companion! Her standard greeting is to roll over for belly rubs, but if you happen to encounter a tiger or bear on your morning walk… She’s going to be in between you and that animal. She is suspected to be some type of cattle dog mix, and shows some herding drive, so she is probably not the dog for you if your household consists of toddlers, squirrels, and Chihuahuas. But she enjoys the company of dogs who don’t “skitter around!” She would love a family who wants an affectionate ride or die companion. Born, we believe, in 2016 and weighing about 50 lbs, Miss P is an incredibly sweet, people-friendly girl who loves being around her humans. Tate was born in September of 2016 under a shed in a rural area outside of Atlanta and was very happy that a rescue group found him with his siblings and took them all in. Tate's mom was a Border Collie mix and we're not sure about dad, but he was he was obviously a very handsome dude! Tate can be very nervous in new situations and with new people, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes a big goofball who loves to snuggle! He prefers to be inside where he feels safe so he needs a person/family who will be patient with him and give him time to get acclimated. He would love a fenced yard, and to be your one & only, so a home without small children or other pets would be ideal Tate is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped.
