Yankee is an 8 month old male Collie / Lab mix who’s just as beautiful inside as he is out. With his sunny personality and sweet smile, he brightens every space he’s in. Yankee walks well on a leash, making walks around the neighborhood easy and very pleasant. This sweet friendly pup happily greets people, wagging his tail and always ready to make new friends. Yankee enjoys playing with toys or with his doggie pals in adjacent play areas, but he especially lovvvves getting to spend time with his human friends. Overall, Yankee is an absolute gem - loving, super sweet, full of heart - and just waiting to be discovered by his forever family. Could that be you? Queenie is a nine month old, 40 pound cattle dog mix. This little low rider was the only one left at the shelter when “time was up” so we just took her too…what’s one more? Queenie was terrified at first and had to be carried from the shelter, but a foster took her after she was vetted, and she is doing great now, loves the foster  dogs and kids, and is relaxed and seems to know that she is safe. Im still learning how to be a dog and trust people&#44 but underneath my cautious side is a heart thats so ready to love. Once I feel safe&#44 youll see how sweet and affectionate I can be!<br/><br/>Im most confident when I have another dog buddy around. They help me learn and remind me that the world isnt such a scary place. Id do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return&#44 I promise to give you all the love Ive been saving up. Meet Mr. Crane! He will certainly be happy to meet you. This dog does happy like no dog I've ever seen. He literally jumps for joy! When I come home, He goes sailing past my head. Crane is very playful. He especially likes those rope toys, which he will play with on his own or he'll play tug of war until your arm falls off. But if you sit still for long enough, he will curl up with you. That is his favorite place to be, in contact with his people. It gives him a sense of security. Crane did not have a good start in life. He was seconds away from being euthanizedHe is one year old and has lived in at least four places during the first 10 months. So in his little world, everyone you love goes away. That makes him crave reassurance. If he can just settle some place and learn that no one is leaving, I think that he should develop a little more independence. Won't you give Mr. Crane a chance? He's a beautiful, sweet-tempered boy who will be overjoyed for a chance to be your best friend.
