Story
Hi, Im Mango!

Im about 2 years old, but dont let that fool you, Im still very much a puppy at heart! Im a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy who loves meeting new people. Chances are, after saying hello, Ill roll right over and offer my belly for some rubs. Im affectionate, playful, and generous with my sloppy kisses. Life is exciting, and I like to share that excitement with everyone around me!

Play time is one of my most favorite things! If theres a tennis ball or a small plushy toy to chase, Im ready to jump right in. In fact, Im so committed to fetch that Ill bring my toy right back to you and sometimes even toss it your way to make sure you get the hint: throw it again!

I know how to sit already, and Im eager to keep learning. I do pretty well on walks, though I can get distracted by all the interesting sights and smells, and I sometimes pull a little on the leash when something catches my attention. Theres just so much to explore!

Because Im an energetic, medium-sized boy who can get a little jumpy when Im excited, Id probably do best with older kids rather than very young children. Give me room to run, play, and be my goofy self, and Ill reward you with endless entertainment, loyalty, and love.

If youre looking for a playful best friend whos always up for a game, a walk, or a cuddle session after playtime, I think we might be a perfect match. Come meet me. Ill have a tennis ball ready!

P.S. I qualify for Welcome Trial, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to see if we are a match before making things official. With the right home, patience, and love, Ill be a loyal, clever companion whos ready to be by your side and enjoy some cuddles.

Story
Tweety is a cattle dog (likely mixed with a Smooth Coat Collie), which basically means she’s equal parts brilliant, busy, and always three steps ahead of everyone in the room. If there’s a job to do, Tweety has already done it… and improved it. Right now, Tweety is training in our Beyond The Bars program, where she’s channeling all that lively puppy energy and sharp intelligence into focus, structure, and partnership. She’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh one minute and say “how did you even figure that out?!” the next — constantly observing, learning, and engaging with everything and everyone around her. Whether she’s zipping through training exercises, locking eyes with her handler like she’s solving a puzzle, or soaking up a quiet moment of connection, Tweety is showing just how much potential she has. The puppy in her means her attention span is simiar to a gnat - lol - but when she's focused, she's really focused! July 12, 2026, 12:12 am

HI, I&#39M BUD! I&#39M PEOPLE, DOG AND EVEN CAT FRIENDLY. IF YOU&#39D LIKE TO MEE ME, PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATION OR EMAIL US AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Meet Bud! Bud is a 10-year-old Collie mix, weighing 55 pounds of quiet sweetness and gentle charm. With his beautiful coat and soulful eyes, this handsome boy has so much love to give. Bud is a low-energy boy who enjoys a peaceful routine. He walks nicely on a leash, knows his basic commands, and is both house and crate trained -- making him an easy, comfortable companion for a calm home. Bud came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived among nearly 150 other dogs. Because of that, he didn&#39t get the individual attention and socialization he deserved, and he can be a little skittish when meeting new people. But underneath that initial shyness is a tender, loyal heart just waiting to bond with his person. One thing that truly brings Bud joy is playing with other dogs. He feels most comfortable around his furry friends and loves spending time with them. A home with another friendly dog and a fenced-in backyard where he can safely hang out, explore, and play would be ideal for him. Bud can also live with cats, making him a wonderful option for a multi-pet household. With patience, kindness, and consistency, Bud truly blossoms. He doesn&#39t need much -- just someone willing to move at his pace, focus on him, and show him what it truly means to be loved. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty and the kind of unconditional love only a grateful dog can give. Bud is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated -- ready to start his new chapter. If you&#39d like to be the hero this beautiful boy has been waiting for, please inquire at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or fill out an application at www.barkvilledogrescue.org. Bud has waited a long time for his person. Maybe that person is you. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Finn is a 6 month old male Collie mix with a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and a sweet nature that is impossible not to love. Finn is the shyest of the pups in his litter, often hanging back while his brother and sister take the lead in greeting visitors. But don't let his timid first impression fool you - behind his cautious approach is a loving, affectionate pup just waiting for the chance to shine. A few gentle pets, a soft treat or two, and Finn quickly begins to relax so that his sweet personality starts to emerge. Recently, Finn enjoyed a Dog Day Out with one of our volunteers, and it showed what a truly special boy he is. Although he was nervous at first, he bravely explored the Downtown Square, taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the world beyond the shelter. He even enjoyed his very first pup cup, showing him that new adventures can often be fun! As the day went on, Finn's confidence grew, and his gentle personality began to shine brighter than ever. His volunteer was completely charmed by this sweet boy and described him as 'such a good dog,' adding that 'Finn will make someone a wonderful companion.' We couldn't agree more! Finn is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. He's gentle, loving, and eager to find his forever family who will help him continue to build confidence. Come meet Finn soon, and bring home your loyal best friend! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. Story
Queenie is a nine-month-old, 40-pound cattle dog mix. This little low rider was the only one left at the shelter when time was up, so we just took her too, what’s one more? Queenie was terrified at first and had to be carried from the shelter, but a foster took her after she was vetted. She is doing great now, loves the foster dogs and kids, and seems relaxed, as if she knows she is safe. If you would like to foster or adopt this cute girl, please submit an application. ##2666029##
