Tobi is an energetic good boy. He loves running through fields and forests. He spends his days loafing next to his humans even though he could be off playing with other pet companions within the home. He’s very smart and does funny dances to express his excitement.

Story
Hi&#44 Im Baxter!

Life didnt start out easy for me. I came from a pretty unsanitary situation before Atlanta Humane rescued me and showed me what kindness feels like. Im still learning how to be a dog and trust people&#44 but underneath my cautious side is a heart thats so ready to love. Once I feel safe&#44 youll see how sweet and affectionate I can be!

Im most confident when I have another dog buddy around. They help me learn and remind me that the world isnt such a scary place. Id do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return&#44 I promise to give you all the love Ive been saving up. I cant wait to run&#44 play&#44 and just enjoy being a happy dog&#44 especially with another canine friend by my side!

Story
I have had Crane for about a month. At 11 months, he is on the edge between puppy and adult. But one of my dogs has taken a dislike to him and keeps attacking him. For his safety, he needs to be adopted soon. Crane is a lovely boy. He adores people and begs everyone for pets. He also gets along with cats. The only thing he wants out of life is to be with his people, especially in physical contact. I've been taking him to work with me, and the whole way there and back, he curls up in my lap. If I sit on the couch, he wants to sit with me, touching me. He's a Border Collie mix, but I'm not quite sure what the mix is. He does have separation anxiety, but look at it from his point of view. In his first 10 months of life, he has lived in at least 4 different places. In his little world, everyone he loves always leaves. He would do best as an only dog, and I long for him to find a place where the people he loves do not leave.

Story
We adopted Bella from the Humane Society when she was four months old, and she has grown into a sweet, clever, and energetic dog. I’m looking for a home that can give her the care she truly needs including plenty of exercise, consistent routines, and social time with other dogs. Bella can be a little skittish at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes a very affectionate, clingy companion. She is extremely smart and learns quickly when someone gives her patience and guidance. She would thrive with an active family or someone familiar with working or high-energy breeds. I want to make sure she goes to a safe, stable, and loving home.
