Story
Meet Salem — Beauty, Brains, and Floof!  Yes, she woke up like this. And yes… the hair really is that fabulous.  Some dogs come into rescue scared of the world. Some need time to learn how to trust.   And then there’s Salem — an 8-month-old AKC registered Collie whose heart is already wide open to everyone she meets.   Salem doesn’t know a stranger. She greets life with gentleness, love, and the kind of calm spirit that makes you instantly feel at peace just being near her. As laid back as she is fluffy, she’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be close to her people — quietly loving, faithfully devoted, and always ready for a cuddle.   She walks beautifully on a leash, is fully potty trained, and has wonderful manners for such a young girl. Salem gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, making her an easy addition to almost any loving home.   She’s already done all the hard parts — Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Ready to start her real life   Now all she’s missing is the one thing rescue dogs wait for the most… a family to call her own.   A home where she’ll be more than just a dog — where she’ll be a companion, a couch buddy, a shadow, and a forever friend.   - Adoption Fee: $450   If you’re looking for a gentle soul wrapped in soft Collie fluff, Salem is waiting for you.   Because every rescue dog deserves a happy ending — and Salem’s story is just beginning.    ##2699160##

Story
HI, I&#39M BUD! I&#39M PEOPLE, DOG AND EVEN CAT FRIENDLY. IF YOU&#39D LIKE TO MEE ME, PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATION OR EMAIL US AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG. Meet Bud! Bud is a 10-year-old Collie mix, weighing 55 pounds of quiet sweetness and gentle charm. With his beautiful coat and soulful eyes, this handsome boy has so much love to give. Bud is a low-energy boy who enjoys a peaceful routine. He walks nicely on a leash, knows his basic commands, and is both house and crate trained -- making him an easy, comfortable companion for a calm home. Bud came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived among nearly 150 other dogs. Because of that, he didn&#39t get the individual attention and socialization he deserved, and he can be a little skittish when meeting new people. But underneath that initial shyness is a tender, loyal heart just waiting to bond with his person. One thing that truly brings Bud joy is playing with other dogs. He feels most comfortable around his furry friends and loves spending time with them. A home with another friendly dog and a fenced-in backyard where he can safely hang out, explore, and play would be ideal for him. Bud can also live with cats, making him a wonderful option for a multi-pet household. With patience, kindness, and consistency, Bud truly blossoms. He doesn&#39t need much -- just someone willing to move at his pace, focus on him, and show him what it truly means to be loved. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty and the kind of unconditional love only a grateful dog can give. Bud is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated -- ready to start his new chapter. If you&#39d like to be the hero this beautiful boy has been waiting for, please inquire at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or fill out an application at www.barkvilledogrescue.org. Bud has waited a long time for his person. Maybe that person is you. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Meet Ruby Riley—your cuddle-loving, playful best friend! Ruby Riley is a one-year-old, ~25 lb shepherd/collie mix with a gorgeous, ultra-soft brown and black coat you won’t be able to resist petting. She’s as sweet as she is beautiful—affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Ruby loves everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. She’s playful, social, and enjoys yard time, walks, and just relaxing outside taking in the world. She also has the cutest, distinctive little bark/howl that adds to her charm. She’s crate-trained, rides well in the car, and knows basic commands. Ruby is mostly house-trained but may have an occasional accident—she’ll thrive with a consistent routine and a little patience as she settles into a new home. Healthy, spayed, and up to date on all care, Ruby is ready to jump right into her forever family. She’ll do best in a home that can give her love, attention, and regular activity to match her happy, playful spirit. If you’re looking for a loving, joyful companion with a soft coat and an even softer heart, Ruby Riley is your girl.
