Story
We got him from KCPP about 4 months ago. He is about 1.5 years old. He needs somewhere with a yard and unfortunately we don’t have one for him. He also does not get along with my family dog and may be best as an only dog. Super trainable and smart, energetic, cuddly, and loyal.

Story
Meet Loki! He may take some time to open up to new faces, but beneath his guarded exterior lies a loyal and protective companion. Initially reserved with strangers, Loki prefers to set the pace when it comes to forming new connections. However, once he establishes trust, he is a steadfast and protective presence for his people. In his previous home, Loki has proven himself to be a reliable companion in households with children. His protective instincts extend to those he cares about, making him a loyal guardian. Loki is not only house trained but also kennel trained, displaying a knack for adapting to routines. His resource guarding tendencies and protectiveness may manifest during mealtimes or when strangers enter his domain, requiring a watchful eye and understanding approach. He is also capable of jumping a 6ft fence, so his new family will need to take the proper measures to ensure that he doesn't escape. For Loki to thrive, he craves both mental and physical stimulation. He will require regular exercise and ample attention in his forever home. If you're prepared to invest time, understanding, and love into this enigmatic canine friend, Loki may just become the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for!

🌸 Meet Orchid! 🌸 Hello there! I'm Orchid, and just like my namesake, I'm a stunning girl with a vibrant personality. My biggest wish for my forever home is simple: I want someone to love and be loved in return. 💖 I adore people of all sizes and enjoy the company of other dogs. In fact, I thrive in a home with another dog and a fenced yard because I'm a social butterfly who loves to play! 🐾 I'm a calm and composed walker, so our strolls will be drama-free. Squirrels? Meh, they don't interest me at all. I'm also great with cats! 🐱 My foster mom says I'm quite the smarty-pants and a quick learner. I love treats and pleasing my people, so training me is a breeze. I'm also good at communicating my needs without being too chatty. 🗣️ I'm house-trained, well-mannered, and walk beautifully on a leash. I love to snuggle and be your little helper around the house, especially in the kitchen where I'll keep your floors spotless. I also cherish my quiet time, especially if there's a sunny spot for a nap. ☀️ I've been told I'm a cutie, and there's quite a fuss over my adorable ears, the white tip on my tail, and my speckled feet and belly. 🐶 Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I can't wait to meet you and share some treats together! 🦴 Orchid is eligible for our Foster to Adopt Program.

Story
Cameron is a handsome Cattle Dog/Heeler mix who's expressive face draws you in immediately upon meeting him. He prefers his nick name Chunky or Chunky Monkey. He loves playing with his furry foster siblings (both small and large). Toys are his favorite things, stuffed animals, chewing, or squeaky ones. He definitely lacks the Cattle.Dog energy. He will play for a bit but then is ready for a nap. He also is missing the herding gene, so no nipping or stress when his people.are in different areas of the house. Cameron stays in a playpen when his fosters are away. He cries a little when being left but pretty quickly settles in with a toy or to sleep. He sleeps through the night with his foster parents He is doing great with potty training, crying when he needs to go out. Cameron is great on car rides. He jumps up in the back seat and takes the opportunity for another nap. Cameron is such a great puppy. He knows sit and is treat motivated so easy to train. It's clear how much he wants love because if his fosters start talking sweet to him he runs and jump onto their laps. He gets so much joy being told what a good boy he is. Don't miss out on the perfect pup, if Cameron sounds like a great match for you put in an application now. Cameron is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. If you are interested in this sweet boy please fill out an adoption application at mscrescue.org/adopt.

Story
Lauren is an adorable Cattle Dog/Heeler mix. She is sweet and is happy playing with her brother and foster furry siblings who are both small and large. Once she's done playing she wants to curl up on her person's lap and nap. Lauren is doing well learning potty training. She understands when outside she is supposed to potty. She and her brother's play pen is typically dry over night and goes right outside when she wakes up to potty and then get breakfast. Lauren is very quiet in the playpen. She lies down for naps when her fosters put her up at bedtime or when they leave. She waits quietly for them to come get her. She plays with toys and doesn't tear anything up when in the playpen. Lauren is a great mix of being an independent gal but also is happy snuggling with her people. She loves being held and will put her head on your shoulder and sink into a hug. If you can see her head on your shoulder then fill out an application fast before this cutie is snuggling with someone else. Lauren is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. If you would like to meet Lauren please fill out an adoption application. Mscrescue.org

Story
Meet Juno! Juno is a sweet and loyal 6-year-old pup with a unique heritage—she’s 44% Catahoula Leopard Dog, 36% Australian Cattle Dog, and a mix of other breeds. True to her roots, she bonds closely with her people and loves to be near them—whether napping at your feet or following you around with gentle nose boops. Juno enjoys leisurely walks at her own pace, rolling in well-kept grass, and sniffing everything in sight. She is fully potty trained, kennel trained, great at learning tricks, and adores soft chew toys. She has done well at dog daycare and peacefully coexists with other dogs, though she’s more of a relaxed companion than a playful pup. She would do best in a home without cats or young children, as she thrives in a calm and structured environment. Juno takes daily medication for anxiety and can be a little nervous during storms, but with love and patience, she is a devoted and affectionate companion. If you're looking for a smart, cuddly, and dog-friendly pup to share your home, Juno might be the one for you! 🐾💙 Juno is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Please apply to adopt Juno at mscrescue.org Juno is eligible for our Foster to Adopt Program.

Do you want a loving dog that just aims to please? Look no further than Sonya. She listens well and knows basic commands. She is always trying to anticipate what you will do next and she really just wants to be the center of your world. Her only fault is she gets really nervous around children and sometimes men and will attempt to nip at them particularly if they are moving quickly and/or rough housing. Her favorite things include being wherever you are, sleeping on her pillow, and following you around wherever you go. She also enjoys nose games where she has to work to get treats. She does well in cars (just give her a pillow and she settles right down). She will come with any supplies your would like that I have. She may need a slow introduction to other dogs.
