Story
Patches is a 4 year old male (neutered) border collie that we rescued when he was 4 months old. We love him dearly, but we have small children now and he is best suited for a family with older children and more space. He is a working breed and has energy that requires more time for walks and a place outside (fenced in) to play. He is completely house trained and is good with other dogs once is gets familiar with them. It is very hard for us to part with our dog, but we want to find him the right home that will give him a good, long, happy life.

Story
Jasmine is a gentle girl who has never know what it’s like to have a family or what it’s like to be a dog.She was one of dozens of dogs tied up on a property where “ accidental “ puppies randomly happened and she came to live with her FOCCAS foster along with her three puppies. Her puppies moved out and she is slowly beginning to trust. She’s super sweet and wants to be a part of what is going on. Broken dogs take a while to heal but she is ready to accept that change and has came a long way in her journey. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Jasmine's adoption fee is $275. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Nimbus is a mixed‑breed boy who most closely resembles a Bohemian Spotted Dog, and his personality is every bit as lovely as his looks. He’s gentle, kind, goofy, and incredibly affectionate — the type of dog who loves to hold hands, give kisses, and curl up right beside you. He’s wonderfully social with other dogs and often acts as a calming buffer for pups who can be a bit selective. Smart and eager to learn, Nimbus thrives on training and is especially motivated by play; his favorite toy is a stuffed duck that quacks like the real thing. He’s expressive, full of personality, and truly wants to be someone’s best friend. Because he’s easily startled by quick movements and feels nervous around small children, he would be happiest in a calm home without them. With the right family, Nimbus will be the most loyal, loving, and joyful companion — the perfect boy waiting for his perfect match.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!

Story
Meet Mamacita! This amazing baby is a female Border Collie mix who was born around 7/01/20. She weighs in at 48 pounds full of love and affection. She’s current on her vaccines and is being treated for heartworms on slow kill method by The Artemis Project, who will continue to provide the medications for the duration of my treatment even if you adopt me so please don’t let that stop you! This beautiful lady has a great personality! She's gentle, a little shy, and quietly hoping for someone to notice her. She's simply looking for a home where she’ll be loved and treated like a member of the family. She’s gonna make some lucky family the bestest companion, full of love and loyalty. She is great with other dogs as well as kids... and she even gets along with cats!! Her foster family says this: "She's great! Potty trained knows commands and just all around happy. Loves to cuddle. This little girl will be your BEST buddy! Mamacita loves to be in the same room, and she will snuggle if you ask for it, but otherwise does her own thing. She LOVES to "talk" - she "talks" to the younger doggos, "talks" to the TV, and "talks" to us sometimes. She thinks cats could be a lot of fun, until they tell her NO. She has made friends with the other dogs. She has been the BEST foster we have EVER had, and she is going to make someone an AMAZING friend!" Please set up a meet and greet with Mamacita ASAP. She’s excited to find her forever home with her new loving family. Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.
