Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED Gwenie is a 7-year-old Sable Merle Collie.  She is crate trained and almost house broken.  She weighs 54 pounds.  She loves to play with her foster brother and needs to be in a home with other active dogs and one where she will be taken for walks.  She is very friendly and loves to give kisses.  She will come on command but would benefit from basic training.  She enjoys her quiet time and but also spends time with her foster family when encouraged.  She has a playful personality which we are really starting to see.  Her favorite treats are peanut butter and cheese.  She has recently decided that she does not like to sleep in the kennel but wants to be close to her foster family.  She sleeps comfortably on the floor with blankets.  She also enjoys being outside but when it’s time to go potty you have to make sure she actually goes.  She only barks when she wants out of her kennel to go potty.  Gwenie likes to drink out of the toilet, so you might want to keep the lid closed.  She enjoys car rides and will either lay down or get your attention by licking your ears.  She does not like loud noises or sudden movement and will pace at times, so would not do well in a household with young or loud children.  She is just a real joy to be around and after some adjustment time, will be an excellent addition to an active home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 1, 2026, 3:19 pm

Story
My daughter got this dog from a random lady on Facebook in central KS... and then she moved out and didn't take her. I do not have time nor energy for her. She's very active, super sweet but also just a LOT. She's a chewer, digger, runner and loud talker. She's probably do great with an active person or couple, big family with hustle bustle as she loves kids and affection, or a home where she's solo and gets all the attention. She's appx a year to a year and half old, not more than 40ish lbs.

These pups are in Peculiar, Missouri too!

Story
Meet Molly, our beautiful little **Miniature Blue Heeler** girl 💙🐾 Molly is just 1 year and 8 months old, and she has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. She came into our care after being placed on “death row” at a high-kill shelter. The day she walked into her foster mom’s home was the day she finally discovered love, safety, and kindness. 🌈✨ It was discovered that Molly still had milk in her teats when she arrived, so it’s likely she was used for breeding before being discarded. There was no record of a litter, and no one advocating for her. Despite that heartbreaking start, Molly’s spirit is absolutely incredible. 💔➡️❤️ She was shy and unsure at first, but once she realized she was safe, her true personality blossomed. Now she is a loving, loyal, affectionate little shadow who wants nothing more than to please her foster family. She truly is a healer in every sense of the word. 🐶💞 Here’s what makes Molly so special: 🐾 Wonderful with kids and adults 🐾 Gets along beautifully with all dogs — boys and girls 🐾 Cat friendly (yes, really! 🐱) 🐾 Even good around chickens 🐔 🐾 House-mannered and well behaved 🐾 Sleeps all night in her kennel 🐾 Chill and happy to relax for TV time in the evenings 📺 Molly didn’t get the love she deserved in her first year of life… but she is more than ready for her forever family now. She’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply and give you her whole heart. 💖 Her adoption fee covers: ✔️ Spay surgery ✔️ Up-to-date vaccinations ✔️ Flea, tick & heartworm prevention ✔️ Microchip (transferred to her new owner at adoption) So what do you say? 💭✨ Are you the amazing forever home this sweet Miniature Blue Heeler girl has been waiting for? Submit an application to set up a meet & greet and come fall in love with Molly. 🐾💕

Story
Meet Kira 💛 Kira is a barely one-year-old **Red Heeler** bundle of joy who is ready to find her forever best friend! This sweet, kind, loving, and affectionate girl will happily stay by your side every step of the way. She already knows how to fetch and would love to play with you anytime you’re ready. Kira gets along beautifully with other dogs — boys and girls alike — and she doesn’t mind kitty cats at all. She’s even comfortable around livestock, making her a wonderfully versatile companion. Kira is house-trained and knows to do her business outside. She sleeps peacefully all night, whether in her kennel or curled up on the couch. She doesn’t tear things up, and she’s incredibly quiet — she’s barely even barked in her foster mommy’s home! Kira would make an amazing addition to just about any family. All she truly wants is someone to love and to call her very best friend. 🐾💗 Her adoption fee covers her spay surgery. All her vaccinations are up-to-date! Rabies vaccination was a 3 year shot, flea, tick and heartwarm preventative medication as well. She even comes fully microchipped with the new owner information transferred at adoption. She's just a great gal! Please submit an application to set-up a meet-n-greet!
