Hey there, my name is Milo! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but before I came here I was living in a homeless camp. My rescuer found me in a bad situation and brought me to my PAWS family. I am an energetic guy, and I love to run and wrestle with my canine friends. I play in doggy daycare every day! My motto is: Play hard, Nap hard. I can be shy when first meeting people, but once I get to know you I’m sure I’ll love you! I love to snuggle and I appreciate a nice, warm blanket.  I’ve only been in a house a couple times in my life, so I’ll need to learn the ropes, but I am a quick learner and I promise I’ll make you proud! Story
Brutus is truly a sweet boy. It has been such a pleasure watching his personality grow over the last 8 months. He loves to fetch, explore his puzzles, and cuddle on the couch. He is shy in new surroundings but warms up quickly. When he wants to snuggle, he will plop his body down on our lap and roll around. If he doesn't feel like snuggling, he will sit by himself chewing on a toy or resting. He will verbally express his boundaries if you try to interrupt his "me time, but sometimes it's necessary to retrieve what he has in his mouth such as a stick from the yard. This beautiful boy is ready for his forever home! Brutus will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250. Apply to Adopt Brutus today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog or at www.lucky13rescue.org.

Story
Hi, I'm Sydney, a 3-year-old AussieDoodle!! I am learning to be an indoor dog at my foster home with one dog that's smaller than me and one that's bigger. I'm super mellow and very quiet. I'm still a bit shy but my personality is blossoming with each passing day. I've only encountered one cat and I wasn't interested. I love to follow my human around the house. I'm learning how to play with the other dogs and starting to wag my tail. I still get a little nervous with unexpected movements and loud sounds but I'm getting more comfortable every day...because of this I'd prefer a calmer home with older kiddos. I have no desire to get on the furniture as long as I have a soft place to lay on the floor. I recently got a haircut so my beautiful, non-shedding, super soft coat can grow back fresh and new. My groomer said I was a great customer. I walk perfectly on a leash, sleep all night in my kennel, and eat like a champ. I would love a forever home with a loving family. Before applying please keep in mind that Sydney will require routine grooming. Applications processed in order received. Located in the KC area.

Story
Lady was recently rescued from a breeder and is learning what being a family dog is all about. She is cautious and shy around new people, so she will need someone who understands her past and willing to give her the love and patience she deserves. She is doing great with potty training and starting to let her foster family know when she's ready to go out. She is a darling girl and is fine with all size dogs and kids too. She hasn't met a kitty.
