Meet Chunk: Chunk is about a 14 month old (as of July 2026) border collie / lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 60 pounds. Chunk was born in a shelter on May 1, 2025. His mommy and siblings had all been adopted and found their homes and he was left behind. For one year he lived in the shelter not knowing any other life. Chunk went to many adoption events where everyone loved him but no commitments were made. Due to shelter stay length without interest, he found his name on the euthanasia list! The shelter director reached out to our rescue to see if we could help this sweet guy out. We are thankful we had a spot for him and can give him the chance at the life he deserves! Chunk is now being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Chunk is a total sweetheart! He is great with all people, including children. Chunk loves attention, playing with his toys, and having snacks! Chunk could spend his days rolling in the grass and hanging out with friends and be the happiest guy around! Chunk is great with other dogs and has done well with cats, too! Chunk is house trained and crate trained and walks well on a leash. We would love for Chunk to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can roam, run, roll and play freely until his hearts content. Chunk is up to date on his shots and neutered. Chunk is such a great package and ready to be your new best friend forever! Hello world! My name is Charlie and I`m on the hunt for my `furever` home! I came to the shelter when my last family thought it was best to find me a home where I could thrive to my fullest potential! I came all the way from Puerto Rico so you can consider me an adventurer, who especially loves long walks and hikes with my favorite humans. I also enjoy the company of other dogs as long as they aren`t too rough with me! I am an all-star pup who knows some basic commands and I`m house broken and crate trained! I do ask any kiddos in the home to be 5 and older, who can give me space and won`t touch my paws, so no in-home `pawdicures` for me! I adopted Lewis as a puppy 5 years ago, and he has lived up to the border collie in him. He loves running, playing frisbee, going on walks and smelling all the plants, and he’s very good with both cats and children. He’s good with dogs he knows, but protective to dogs he doesn’t. He has a seizure disorder and takes daily medication to manage it (about $30/month) Since having two small children in the last two years, as well as acquiring a job where I travel frequently, I have become less and less available to give Lewis the love and outdoor time he deserves. He would spend hours outside if he could. His confinement indoors has made him paranoid and barks frequently when left alone. Overall he’s a happy boy and deserves to have a home who can give him the outdoor time and love he deserves

We welcomed Coco in April 2024. She is an exceptionally smart, friendly Border Collie who loves neighborhood kids and respects yard boundaries. I hoped she’d grow up with my kids, but I underestimated the work of raising a baby and a toddler alongside a high-energy breed. Coco is very anxious and skittish; loud play makes her nervous, causing her to bark to stop us, and I struggle to balance family fun with her needs.Recently, her medical needs have added to the challenge. She started having seizures this August (about weekly). After multiple seizures yesterday, she went to the Pet ER, received midazolam and phenobarbital injections, and responded well. She now requires a strict anti-seizure medication schedule every 12 hours.Because of her anxiety, skittishness, and new medical needs, she requires an owner with immense patience and time. I am unable to provide what is best for her and hope to find someone with a tender heart to give her the care she deserves.

Hi, I’m Shockwave—but my foster family has been calling me Buddy! I’m a sweet, affectionate little guy whose favorite activity is pretty simple: being loved! I’m happiest cuddled up with my people, and I come with a permanently adorable case of bed head to complete the look. I currently live with three dogs, a cat, and a 9-year-old child, and my foster says I’ve gotten along wonderfully with everyone. I can be a little timid around men when I first meet them, but once I’m comfortable, my sweet and gentle personality takes over. I’m crate trained, walk very nicely on leash, and have a pretty low-key energy level, so I could potentially be just as happy in an apartment as I would in a house with a yard. I am still working on my house manners and have been marking indoors, so my foster has been using belly bands while we work on that. Overall, I’m a chill, cuddly, easygoing boy who doesn’t ask for much—just a comfortable place to land and plenty of love. Meet Rascal:  Rascal is a 4 year old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix that weighs around 41 pounds.  Rascal was rescued from a high kill shelter a day before she was to be euthanized.  Rascal loves attention and is very sweet.  Rascal can be dog selective but has no reaction to cats. We recommend older children because Rascal is energetic and sometimes jumps on you. Overall Rascal is a nice girl...just needs some work and stability. Rascal is house and crate trained but needs some work on her leash walking. Rascal will need a fenced in yard where she can run and a family that is very active and experienced. I can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn`t take me too long to get over my nerves. I am pretty food-motivated so it`s not too difficult to get on my good side. I do ask that any kids in the home are 5 and older as I can startle easily. I may do well with another dog and/or cat with proper introduction. I can be a bit rambunctious with other dogs so its best if they are my size or larger. I am housebroken and crate trained and even had some professional training. My previous owner said I can be vocal, so I may need some continued work on my reactivity.
