While he is timid with people right now, he’s already showing wonderful signs of growth—he’s curious, willing to explore, and makes sure to keep his people within eyesight as he builds trust. Peppermint is looking for a patient adopter who understands that confidence takes time and is willing to help him continue blossoming at his own pace. With gentle encouragement and a consistent routine, this sweet boy has all the potential to grow into a loyal, devoted companion. He does very well with other dogs and seems to take comfort in their presence, often watching and learning from them. Peppermint is also doing excellent with crate training, showing he’s a smart pup who will thrive with structure. He’s currently learning to be brave on the leash and already making progress each day.
