Meet Sadie. Sadie came to us as a local owner surrender when her owner was no longer able to keep her when he moved. Sadie is a snuggly, little fluff who LOVES children! Don’t let her puppy-ish looks fool you…her 7 years of life have taught her to walk nicely on a leash, how to potty outside and a few basic commands. Sadie weighs 47 lbs.  When she sees her “people” she gets happy ears that stand up in the cutest way.  She is still settling in to her foster home and is currently indifferent to the dogs here but lived with, and loved, a doggie sister before.  The foster chickens aren’t even worth a sniff.  While she likes being outside she definitely prefers to be cuddled up with the kids in the house. Sadie will do best in a home that is going to give her a lot of attention. She is not an apartment dog as she will bark when she wants attention or feels anxious. Sadie will do best in a home that has room for her to run or will give her excercise. She will attach herself to her person. Sadie is housebroken but will have some accidents in a new environment until she settles in. She is a very sweet girl that is looking for a patient forever home. Sadie does need a home without cats. Her adoption fee is $200.00.  Sadie is spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped.                                                                              KENNEL ID #18804 Sidney and his sister Cookie were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? She is around 1 year old and full of potential. Molly was found abandoned at a church, where a kind neighbor stepped in to give her a flea bath and make sure she was fed. When she came into rescue, she was in heat and was spayed right away. She does great with structure and routine. Molly sleeps inside a kennel overnight with no accidents, uses a dog door confidently, and is kenneled next to another dog. While they may bark at each other at times, there is no aggression. Because of her youthful energy and Australian Kelpie breed traits. This breed is known for being absolutely a brilliant, high-energy dogs were bred for herding in the rugged Australian outback - and it shows!* Kelpie Highlights: Super Smart - Quick learners and love a challenge. High Energy - Always ready to go, go, go! Great for an active family. Molly would do best in a home with older children. She walks nicely on leash and actually seems calmer when leashed. She already knows how to sit on command, is very smart, and is highly trainable—she’s going to thrive with continued guidance and enrichment. This sweet guy was abandoned in rural Tennessee—emaciated, exhausted, and desperate for kindness. In his search for help, Mason approached a home, but sadly, the resident dogs attacked him. Though the homeowner managed to break it up, Mason was left with multiple injuries. Thankfully, animal control brought him to safety, and our rescue partners stepped in just in time. He has recovered in a loving foster home. Despite everything he’s been through, Mason is gentle and trusting. He is fully healed and neutered, and is ready to find a forever home that will finally show him the love he’s been searching for.
