Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I'm a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I'm known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won't hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters's bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. It could be a good idea to consider using a crate or kennel to help me feel secure and comfortable when I'm alone.Overall, I'm a really nice dog, and I would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving and loyal furry friend.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Shepherd was picked up at the post office here in Stephenville and was never reclaimed. So far at the shelter, he has been a sweet but skittish boy. He walks decent on the leash but has to be guided into crates. He does fine once in them apart from occasionally growling at the dogs next to him. He does not like loud noises nor people coming at him too quickly. He has been very mellow here. We do not know if he is potty trained. He does know basic commands. We will update further as we get to know him better. Shepherd has received his DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations. He is neutered and microchipped. He is pending on de-wormer and a heartworm test. He does need a rabies vaccine. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public. Adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion.

Symon is a 1.5 year old, 45 lb Smooth Collie mix. Breed mix is just our best guess, but he sure looks a lot like photos of other Smooth Collies. He is so handsome with his tri-color markings, long snout, and legs that won't quit! Symon is a lot more than a pretty face though. He is smart and very willing to learn new things. Symon is very athletic, and will make a great walking, running, or hiking partner. He might even excel at agility training. He gets along with most other dogs, as long as introduced properly. We think he will be fine with kids over the age of 6. The first step to meeting handsome Symon is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

We found Maverick in Bakersfield Ca He was born Aug 18th 2022.we are hoping to find him a home in a ranch or farm were he can thrive. His first year and a half he grew upon 5 acres and had little contact with the world. Now that we moved to the city he has grown a little aggressive towards people and has nipped my nephews back, I believe it is part of being a border collie but also he could use some behavioral training that I just cant afford it.

**Killeen TX** Saffie is a small girl and so very very soft, a fact you notice immediately because she loves to snuggle. She is a very playful dog, good in a crate, likes her squeaky toys and enjoys the kiddy pool also. She's shown here playing with her foster brother and just having a good time. Saffie is about a year old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and ready for a forever family. We don't know how she is with cats and do not generally recommend heelers be adopted to homes that have them.
