Story
Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I'm a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I'm known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won't hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters's bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. It could be a good idea to consider using a crate or kennel to help me feel secure and comfortable when I'm alone.Overall, I'm a really nice dog, and I would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving and loyal furry friend. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Good with dogs,
Story
Simon is a 6 month old, 30 lb mix breed puppy. After consulting with Google, we think he could be a Collie of some type, maybe mixed with Boxer, but that's just our best guess. He has the goofiness of a Boxer, the smarts of a Collie, and the energy level of both. Simon is super athletic, and would be a great running, walking or hiking partner. He would be a great candidate for agility training too. He is adorable, playful, funny, curious, and affectionate. He gets along with most other dogs as long there are proper introductions. He would also be just fine as an only dog, as long as he gets plenty of attention, exercise and play time. Please submit your application to meet Simon, and an adoption counselors will contact you.

Oh my gosh, are you here to read more about little ol’ me? Oh, where do I start! Well, I’m just a happy doggo trying to live my best life and match up with a new family. DAS is helping me search, isn’t that cool? We’re still getting to know each other, but I think we’re going to find me some great friends. I’ve let them know that I enjoy long walks on warm evenings, trying all kinds of new snacks, and chewing on doggie toys. Who doesn’t love those things? Speaking of snacks, I’ve heard that Dallas is an exciting doggie-friendly place for food enthusiasts! I’d love to check out a few patios some day with my new family. Does that sound like something you’d enjoy, too? I sure hope so… maybe you could click that “Adopt Me” button and we’ll get to know each other better!
