Zelda is a fun-loving and sweet dog who enjoys spending time with our two other dogs. While she may not always be the first one to greet you at the door, she absolutely loves pets, cuddles, and being close to her people. She also enjoys her quiet moments and can often be found happily napping on the couch. Zelda’s favorite thing in the world is going on walks. She is at her happiest when she is outdoors, running around, exploring, and enjoying fresh air. Treats are also high on her list of favorite things! Recently, my wife and I got married and blended our family with her calico cat. Zelda is a well-trained dog and can calmly be in the same room with the cat, but she has had a difficult time fully adapting. At times, she becomes a little too curious and friendly toward the cat, so we have had to constantly supervise interactions between them.because we want the best possible environment for both Zelda and our cat, we have made the very difficult decision to look for a loving new home❤

She has a long body, big paws, and adorably short legs but don't let those fool you. She was the first of her litter to master jumping their 40" play yard fence, proving that determination beats leg length every time! Shiloh loves attention and tries her best to jump up for cuddles. Her floppy bloodhound-like ears and stunning brindle coat give her a unique beauty, and her soulful eyes speak volumes, always asking for love. She's playful and affectionate, enjoying toys, tug-of-war with her littermates, and snuggle time with humans. She's wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats, and she knows exactly when it's bedtime, just shake the treat jar and she's ready to settle in. Shiloh currently lives in an outdoor kennel with her littermates due to space limitations in her foster home. This handsome boy needs a very special person in his life, as he struggles to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately, but it is rare. He did not like his foster mom at all initially, but now he is loving and adoring of her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone; otherwise, he makes it clear that he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with many other dogs and is exceptionally playful with the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested, but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners, which is excellent because he hates being in a crate.He needs a home with minimal people coming and going, and/or a place where he can be away from those who do not live with him, and where there are no young children. His perfect home would be with his human, and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them.Prince is fully vetted, current with vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

Bonnie came to us as a young stray. She had resource guarding issues and really only got along with dogs that respected her boundaries. She loves to cuddle with her human but needs an owner that will allow her her space when she needs it. She is so very smart and I am unable to give her what she needs as a border collie breed. I adopted a puppy and as the puppy got older Bonnie would start fights with the puppy because she was not respecting Bonnie’s boundaries. Over the last 7 years I have had Bonnie she has bitten someone about 7 times. Most of the time it was while being pet or about to be pet. Again, I feel I am not able to provide Bonnie with the activity and socializing her breed demands.

Rhett is a 3-year-old Cattle Dog/Husky mix. He came to us after his previous family had a baby and couldn’t give him the attention he needed. Rhett is playful, friendly, and affectionate. He enjoys other dogs and would thrive in a home with another playful pup (or human) to wrestle and run around with. He’s crate trained, neutered, and doing well with routines—he just needs a person (or family) willing to keep up with his energetic spirit. He is also microchipped! Because of his breed mix, we think Rhett would do best with a large yard or even acreage where he can stretch his legs and explore. Or if you're an outdoors person, he would love that too! He’s smart, curious, and eager to love—he just needs someone to help guide him with patience and positive reinforcement. Rhett may be goofy and a little wild at heart, but he’s got so much love to give. We also can provide his crate, toys, food, medicine, and beds! We are not charging a fee, we just want him to go to a loving home.
