Story
Sadly, it is time to find my dog Cooper a new home. Due to special circumstances around my family, we are no longer able to provide the quality of life that he deserves. A little about him, I adopted him 9 years ago from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley and was estimated to be 2-4 years old at the time. He is likely part Corgi, part Pomeranian. Being as transparent as possible, he needs a home with experienced and patient dog owners, as he’s had strong separation anxiety ever since I’ve had him. I think he could do well in a house that has another dog, I don’t know anything about how he relates with cats. Aside from his separation anxiety, he’s happy to sleep the day away and quite low maintenance. But if you encourage him to play, he's ready to fetch and can be full of energy. Always willing to go out for a walk. He’s healthy, no chronic issues, and up to date on all his vaccines.

Story
Thank you for interested in adopting Taco. Please know that Taco is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, LAX, SEA, IAH, etc International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. +Personality: She is a bit shy and needs some time until she opens her mind. She needs some time to adjust with the a new surrounding with new people. +Dog: She is good with other dogs but gets overexcited and may charge at a new dog she meets during walks. +Children: No experience with meeting children. +Cat: She’s not reactive to cats. She is indifferent even when the cat is next to her. +Car: She is good in car. She doesn’t get carsick and behaves well. +Potty: She is both outdoor and indoor potty trained. She prefers to go outside for potty but is also very successful for using indoor training pads. +Home alone: She briefly whines but soon gets used to being alone and stops. +Guarding: She has no guarding behavior even with her dog food. +Leash: She pulls her leash during walks. The foster calls her name and stops walking which makes Taco to stop as well. +Commends: Sit.

Story
Pembroke Welsh Corgi Mix Age: Senior Male, neutered 20 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Llew was picked up by animal control off the streets of Hayward. He was unable to use his back legs. Otherwise he seemed in fairly good shape. He must not have been on the streets for long. It is suspected that he had a back problem (IVDD) that was never treated. He has responded well to anti-inflammatory and pain medications. He has gained some use of his back legs (he can stand and walk a few steps). He has been in physical therapy for a few months. UPDATE: With diligent persistence from his foster home, Llew is walking again on his back legs. He is a little wobbly, but he is using his back legs all the time - no more dragging. For all he has been through, he has an excellent demeanor - very friendly, very loving. He can come off as a little “pushy” to some dogs, but overall he gets along well with all the dogs in his foster home. He needs a home with no stairs, and where someone is home most of the time. He would prefer a home with another friendly dog. Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs is willing to assist with his vet costs, if needed. Even though he has regained the ability to walk with his hind legs, the jury is still out on whether he has control of his bladder and bowels. He appears to pee when he goes outside, but he doesn't stop and pee. Similarly, he doesn't stop and poop - it just comes out when it is ready.
