Story
Hello! My name is Bobby Boo. I am a 1 year old, neutered male, corgi mix that currently weighs 26 lbs. I am a high energy and quirky looking guy that comes with my quirks- I have some anxiety and nervousness, and could use some help with my socialization skills, so I would do best in a home with dog savvy older kids and one that has lots of experience with anxious dogs like me to help guide me along. If you're looking for an active pup to build a long lasting bond, look no further and come and ask for more information about me! Please have everyone in the household, including any resident dogs, to come and meet me before taking me home with you! Bobby Boo ID#A0984264Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.May 24, 2026, 2:32 pm

Coru is an amazing girl. To say the least, she is a survivor with the biggest heart. She is gentle and loving. Poor girl has been through a tough life. However, it doesn’t stop her from loving and trusting humans. Coru is now in a foster home with other dogs and is good with big and small dogs. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Coru started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate trained and doing well on her house training. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Coru is a wonderful girl and deserves a loving forever home. Coru’s Rescue Story Coru was rescued from a poorly run private shelter. The shelter has over 2,000 dogs living in cramped and wet environment. Coru along with her other friends were used as breeding dogs. After they were done with her, poor Coru was sent to a private shelter where she lived in a cage and never let out. A kind international rescue organization got a rescue message from a volunteer. The founder has over 160 dogs waiting for homes and didn’t have space for another dog. However, when she saw photos of the dogs suffering. She knew it was urgent to rescue them. The rescue took home 19 dogs and promised to find them forever loving homes. Coru had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Coru a loving forever home. Story
This sweet boy is just about five months old and already stepping into something really special. Oliver is now part of our Paws of Hope program, where he’s beginning his journey toward earning his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. And you can already see it in him: he’s eager, attentive, and so ready to learn. Through our Stripes & Paws training program, Oliver is building confidence, learning structure, and developing the kind of skills that truly set him up for success in a home. We’re talking crate training, socialization, and 20+ commands, but more than that, he’s learning how to trust, how to connect, and how to just be a dog again. He’s playful, affectionate, and has that perfect puppy energy balanced with a sweetness that just melts you. The kind of dog who will grow up right alongside you: loyal, steady, and deeply connected. We’re still waiting on his DNA results (rumor has it Corgi, Basset Hound, maybe even a little Shepherd mixed in), but one thing we already know for sure… Oliver is something special. He’s not just looking for a home, he’s looking for his person. Someone to continue what he’s started, to grow with him, and to give him the life he’s been preparing so hard for.
