Story
JoJo is a 3.5-year-old, 29 lb., sweet boy. He came from a local high kill shelter and need out. He was quite overweight when we got him and is doing good with losing a few lbs. He has scar tissue in his left ear, and it causes it to fall forward. Does not bother him though... He does good in the car and walking on leash. Pulls a little but learns quick with correction. He knows some basic commands... like sit, stay, come, etc. This cute guy is looking for his safe forever home. As usual we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to ensure a well-behaved puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $400 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). If interested in one if our dogs or puppies, please email pardonmeinc@yahoo.com for information and adoption questionnaire. Our animals can be seen by appointment only after approved application process. Please email to make sure the animal you are interested in is still available and/or will be attending or on-site adoption event. No phone calls please.  If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please send all inquiries to pardonmeinc@yahoo.com. **********FOSTER HOMES NEEDED************ We are always looking for loving foster homes for new arrivals! Please contact us at pardonmeinc@yahoo.com if you would be interested in fostering. KK February 27, 2026, 9:04 pm

Story
Daisy came to us from a Sacramento shelter.  She is partially blind, but does hear.  Whoever had her before loved her because she is very well behaved and trained to use potty pads.  She does well with other does and cats. Loves to be held and hugged.  When she's sleeping her tail wags.  She's so sweet.  ##2020889##

Story
We bought Brooklyn from a corgi breeder. She is almost 2 years old (born 6/6/24). She is house trained, affectionate, and very playful. She is excitable when she meets new people, and she seems a lot of attention. She has a very healthy appetite. We keep her on a strict diet so she doesn't develop health issues as she gets older. She knows the commands to sit, get up, get down, spin, high five, paw, come, and lie down. We just found out that both my two toddlers are allergic, with neverending breathing issues and hives. We would love for her to go to a home that can give her the love, attention, and affection that she deserves.

Story
Meet this adorable 3 year old male Corgi who’s packed full of personality and charm! This handsome little guy may be short in stature, but he’s big on character. He’s got a touch of that classic Corgi sass — a little stubborn at times and definitely confident about what he wants — but underneath that independent streak is a very loving, sweet boy who bonds deeply with his people. He enjoys affection and cuddles, but he also appreciates doing his own thing and having his space. Because of his strong personality, he would do best as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the attention and not have to share the spotlight. He’s best suited for a home with children 12 and older who understand the importance of structure, consistency, and respecting boundaries. With clear rules and guidance, he truly shines and shows what a good boy he is. This smart, active guy would likely excel in agility, enrichment games, advanced obedience, or other activities that keep both his mind and body busy. He thrives when he has a job to do and a leader to look to. If you’re looking for a super cute, spirited companion with tons of love to give — and you’re ready to provide the structure he needs — this sweet Corgi just might be your perfect match. Story
Meet our precious Butterscotch. She is a Riverside Shelter survivor who was in danger of euthanasia due to having a seizure disorder. Butterscotch is a 1 year old Papillion/Corgi Mix and weighs about 12 lbs. She’s a sweet girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful spirit. She’s resilient and strong. She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and where someone is home 24/7. We are currently trying a new treatment for her seizures and are still trying to find the best approach to control them. Butterscotch has both grand mal seizures (seldomly) and focal seizures more frequently. Her forever family will need to be committed to her medicine regimen and also having patience with navigating her challenges. She will do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient and will also have the dedication to navigate through her challenges with her. She loves chew toys, she's very treat motivated, and she’s dog and cat friendly. She’s a happy girl with a beautiful spirit. She will bring her new family lots of love and joy. We are excited to help her find her new forever family. Adoption Interest applications are on our website www.jointhescars.org under “forms.” We thank you in advance for your interest in adopting one of our heroes and for your patience through the process. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
