Story
JoJo is a 3.5-year-old, 29 lb., sweet boy. He came from a local high kill shelter and need out. He was quite overweight when we got him and is doing good with losing a few lbs. He has scar tissue in his left ear, and it causes it to fall forward. Does not bother him though... He does good in the car and walking on leash. Pulls a little but learns quick with correction. He knows some basic commands... like sit, stay, come, etc. This cute guy is looking for his safe forever home. As usual we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to ensure a well-behaved puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $400 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). If interested in one if our dogs or puppies, please email pardonmeinc@yahoo.com for information and adoption questionnaire. Our animals can be seen by appointment only after approved application process. Please email to make sure the animal you are interested in is still available and/or will be attending or on-site adoption event. No phone calls please.  If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please send all inquiries to pardonmeinc@yahoo.com. **********FOSTER HOMES NEEDED************ We are always looking for loving foster homes for new arrivals! Story
Daisy came to us from a Sacramento shelter.  She is partially blind, but does hear.  Whoever had her before loved her because she is very well behaved and trained to use potty pads.  She does well with other does and cats. Loves to be held and hugged.  When she's sleeping her tail wags.  She's so sweet.  ##2020889##

Story
Meet our precious Butterscotch. She is a Riverside Shelter survivor who was in danger of euthanasia due to having a seizure disorder. Butterscotch is a 1 year old Papillion/Corgi Mix and weighs about 12 lbs. She’s a sweet girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful spirit. She’s resilient and strong. She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and where someone is home 24/7. We are currently trying a new treatment for her seizures and are still trying to find the best approach to control them. Butterscotch has both grand mal seizures (seldomly) and focal seizures more frequently. Her forever family will need to be committed to her medicine regimen and also having patience with navigating her challenges. She will do best in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient and will also have the dedication to navigate through her challenges with her. She loves chew toys, she's very treat motivated, and she’s dog and cat friendly. She’s a happy girl with a beautiful spirit. She will bring her new family lots of love and joy. We are excited to help her find her new forever family. Adoption Interest applications are on our website www.jointhescars.org under “forms.” We thank you in advance for your interest in adopting one of our heroes and for your patience through the process. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
We adopted Rachel in early 2020. She loves people and is super friendly with people as well. She loves playing with big dogs and does not really like dogs smaller than her. We always take her for hiking and she loves it. Rachel is house-trained and only pee/poop outside. We usually walk her 2-3 times a day. The reason that we need to rehome her is that we used to take her out to hiking or dog park a lot. But now, our son is a toddler, we don't have time to do it. We feel bad for her. We want her to have more time outdoor.

Story
I adopted Jimbo from the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter back in 2017. My girlfriend and I, at that time, wanted another dog to accompany our other small breed dog when we're not at home. Jimbo is now 10 years old and will be turning 11 in August 28. He is a very sweet dog and the only down side is that he has separation anxiety, and it makes it very difficult to leave him at home all alone, especially with my busy work schedule. He was never a picky eater but he has become so lately. I have tried different types of food and he eats little to none of them. I am also currently facing financial struggles so I can't even afford to take him to a vet to have him checked. I really do not want surrender him back to an animal shelter, but if there's no other option I might have to. I am hoping there will be another dog lover out there who is able to take him in.
