This formally dressed chap is Dexter, a 7 years old Corgi/Cattledog mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Dexter knows all of his basics: Sit, stay, wait for food and wait before entering a room, and lay down. He is house and crate trained, and sleeps in his crate every night. Dexter is a nice guy with adults and older kids. He isn’t a fan of small kids, which is why he is looking for a new home. He would appreciate a home with older kids or just adults. Dexter loves a good game of fetch and can catch a ball in midair. He is a good traveler, as he is good in the car and good on leash. He does pull in the leash some, though. He loves car rides, camping, and swimming. Dexter’s ideal home is with an active person or couple who also thinks that he is all they need. He is best as an only dog in a home. For that person, he loves to cuddle. Belly rubs are a favorite, too. He is a great little guy who just needs the right home. Dexter is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Santa Clarita and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required.

We adopted Rachel in early 2020. She loves people and is super friendly with people as well. She loves playing with big dogs and does not really like dogs smaller than her. We always take her for hiking and she loves it. Rachel is house-trained and only pee/poop outside. We usually walk her 2-3 times a day. The reason that we need to rehome her is that our baby son is just starting to walk and Rachel gets excited in the house and always running. We have to keep her in the kitchen area, which we think might not be the best for her.

The person who reported Happy to us was feeding Happy for a year and when the junkyard went bankrupt, the owner left and abandoned Happy. He is adorable and sunny. 🥰 * He's wary at first, but once he opens up, he is sweet and asks for pets. 😊 * Not very interested in the other dog friends at ADOGS Center! He only takes his own treats and doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. He does well all around! * He has a good appetite and eats very fast. He needs help with eating slowly because he might choke and cough when he eats too fast. * He does not bark when other dogs bark 👍🏻
