Story
Freya is a sweet energetic Corgi Terrier mix that loves to play and cuddle with her humans. She enjoys playing with Hemi, a big male Rottweiler Shepard mix. She prefers catch to fetch. She loves bully sticks and pig ears. She is very food motivated and very smart. She can be a little too energetic at times and tries to jump and give open mouth kisses which can frighten some people and children. We rescued Freya and Hemi when their previous owner couldn't afford to keep them. For several weeks Freya and Hemi integrated well with our rescue Ceres. However Ceres' resource aggression came out and she and Freya occasionally fought over treats and toys. We have been working with the dogs and they have all improved greatly, but we have been unable to stop the fights entirely. My husband and I have come to the hard decision to rehome Freya to a forever home.

Bez is a pint sized lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is confident curious and loves to play whether that means chasing toys exploring her surroundings or soaking up attention from her people. Bez is pretty much potty trained and has been doing great with her routine. She is sweet spunky and ready to find her forever home where she can continue to thrive and share all of her joy. I am loving life in my foster home and I am doing well with the three kids in the home.

Story
Todd is a young adult corgi mix who couldn't be happier and friendlier. He loves everyone he meets: people, dogs, and cats. Despite that awesome personality and his handsome looks, he found himself at a small rural shelter facing euthanasia. He is now looking for his forever family. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative). Adoption fee: $600 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
*We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, December 27 and January 3. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants December 22-January 4. Happy Holidays!* Meet StellaLuna who is still very much in her silly puppy era! She’s a little shy at first, but once she warms up, her goofy side comes out in the cutest ways. She’s house trained, kennel trained, and proudly learning how to be a proper dog—sometimes forgetting what she was doing halfway through. She plays well with other dogs and loves following their lead, even if she trips over her own feet. Instead of barking, she lets out happy little yelps that perfectly match her awkward enthusiasm. Snuggly, soft-hearted, and delightfully uncoordinated, she brings gentle chaos, cozy cuddles, and lots of quiet silliness wherever she goes. She’s looking for a loving home that enjoys patience, play, and plenty of laughter-filled puppy moments. StellaLuna is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. StellaLuna is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Teddie is a 5 year old small girl we're guessing to be a corgi or chihuahua mix. She will need a quieter home with patience and someone that gives her time to trust, she prefers her own space and some alone time. Since being in foster she has started engaging in play with other dogs. She has allowed her foster to come face to face and cuddle. Leash training has been introduced with some resistance. She loves snacks. We have not seen her with kids or cats yet. She is about 25 lbs, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
