Story
Marcy is the type of dog that makes people smile almost immediately. She has a goofy, happy personality, loves being involved in whatever you are doing, and absolutely lives for water. If there is a pond, creek, kiddie pool, or muddy shoreline nearby, Marcy will find it. Marcy is a stocky, short-legged mixed breed girl around 45 pounds full grown with a personality that balances confidence and sensitivity in a really unique way. She loves adventures, swimming, exploring, and outdoor activities, but she is not a nonstop high-energy dog. She can absolutely keep up on hikes, walks, or active days, then happily relax afterward. She is great with other dogs and cats. With dogs, she does best around friendly, respectful personalities. She can get intimidated if another dog is overly pushy or tries to dominate her, but outside of that she is social, playful, and very happy around other animals. With new people, Marcy can sometimes give a little low growl at first. It is not aggression and she has never shown aggressive behavior. It is simply her way of saying she needs a moment to process and get comfortable. Once she settles in, her affectionate and goofy personality comes out quickly. She is basically an extroverted introvert. Marcy would be a great fit for someone looking for a dog that enjoys adventures and outdoor time but does not need constant stimulation to stay happy. She especially needs a family that understands that not every friendly dog is instantly social with strangers, and that giving a dog a few minutes to warm up is completely okay. Good fit: someone looking for a fun, outdoorsy companion that enjoys water, adventures, and relaxing equally. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Freya is a sweet energetic Corgi Terrier mix that loves to play and cuddle with her humans. She enjoys playing with Hemi, a big male Rottweiler Shepard mix. We have taken her to the dog park and she does fine around other dogs as well. She prefers catch to fetch. She loves bully sticks and pig ears. She is very food motivated and very smart. She can be a little too energetic at times and tries to jump and give open mouth kisses which can frighten some people and children. We rescued Freya and Hemi when their previous owner couldn't afford to keep them. For several weeks Freya and Hemi integrated well with our rescue Ceres. However Ceres' resource aggression came out and she and Freya occasionally fought over treats and toys. We have been working with the dogs and they have all improved greatly, but we have been unable to stop Ceres from starting fights entirely. My husband and I have come to the hard decision to rehome Freya to a safe and loving forever home.

Story
Cody is ready to find his forever home! Cody was found out on the plains of CO limping on 3 legs. A kind person contacted us to get him the medical care he needed. After an FHO and physical therapy, Cody is using his leg again, although there are still times when he reverts back since he likely used 3 legs for most of his life prior to surgery. Cody is a super sweet and loving 1.5 y/o cowboy Corgi. He weighs approximately 25# and will need another friendly dog in his new home and humans who aren’t gone long hours. Cody is potty trained and crate trained although he can have some excited urination when his person comes home. He is still in his puppy stage and learning about chewing on appropriate things so does require a certain amount of supervision and dog-safe chews like no hides and bully sticks. Cody has not been tested with cats or kids and although very sweet and even tempered, he can be herdy so cats aren’t recommended and kids 12+. Cody is good on the leash, treat motivated, and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is shy in new situations and doesn’t love the car but is getting used to shorter trips to fun places. Cody requires a secure fenced in yard with room to run around, a moderately active family, and is not a good fit for an apartment situation. His humans should be ok with the bark of a Heeler, although he mostly uses it when he’s excited and not unnecessarily. Cody would benefit from a basic manners class to bond, learn, and gain confidence. If you’re interested in meeting Cody, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Cody is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. March 8, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
Meet Woogie! Woogie is a cuddly, smart, good boy who’s 8 years old. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and around 28 pounds. Woogie is good on the leash, treat motivated and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is crate trained, but definitely prefers to be close to his people. When he first arrives in a new environment he can be a bit shy, but within hours he warms up and is his happy self.  Woogie is a good listener and knows sit, lay down, stay and kennel. Like a typical corgi, he can be a bit of a barker, but settles with direction, but would likely not be a good fit for an apartment situation. He gets stressed out at the vet and will require anti-anxiety medicine and a muzzle when he has appointments.  In his previous home, he was good with small children with constant supervision, but older kids are recommended. He has not been tested with cats. Woogie was recently neutered and has stopped marking in his foster home. We recommend using a belly band as he acclimates to a new place to avoid any accidents. Woogie is friendly with other dogs, but can sometimes be over zealous. We anticipate this will calm down too now that he’s neutered.  If you’re interested in meeting Woogie, the first step is to complete the meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Woogie is utd on vax, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we don’t adopt outside of Colorado.August 18, 2026, 1:35 pm

Story
Meet Kit! (AKA KitKat) At just 5–6 months old and 27#, this Corgi (and possible Shepherd) mix is a sweet, gregarious puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. KitKat is trusting, super affectionate, and never says no to a good belly rub! The Highlights: Social Butterfly: Great with dogs of all sizes. Curious About Cats: Needs more training, currently thinks they are something to chase. Playtime Enthusiast: Loves to run, play, chase, and surround himself with as many toys as possible. Very springy puppy!  Routine Ready: Already crate/kennel trained! Warning - He likes to “sing” (howl) himself to sleep but eventually settles down. What He’s Working On: Like any young pup, KitKat is still learning his big boy manners. He’s currently working on potty training, curbing his puppy jumping and keeping his paws on the ground when he is excited, and learning what is (and isn't) a chew toy. Ideal Match: KitKat needs a patient, positive-reinforcement-focused person / family who can keep up with his fun energy and give him the attention and guidance he needs to grow into his best self. A fenced in yard is required and respectful kids 10+ may be considered. If you're looking for a loving, adventurous sidekick, you can complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Kit is neutered, utd on vaccs, and chipped. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.August 18, 2026, 1:35 pm
