Sweet sweet Buddy is a long and low Corgi mix guy looking for a home. We aren't sure what the "mix" part is. Basset? Beagle? whatever the mix, he's adorable. Buddy has a fluffy medium-length tricolor coat. He's a low/medium guy who enjoys spending time outdoors or cuddling with his people. He loves everyone he meets. Buddy is good with dogs and disinterested in cats. Buddy is housebroken. He's about 8 years old and a perfect weight at 32 pounds. If you'd like to meet Buddy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Story
Fenrir is a very sweet ~9 year old puppy who loves snuggles and attention. He has been a part of our family for nearly a decade but due to a recent move and allergies in the home we are looking to re-home him. He is very smart, trainable, and loving - but has minimal socializing with other dogs so he leads by barking. Despite a loud bark, he's never been aggressive towards other dogs. He does well with cats and kids. He loves to run free in a fenced in backyard but also does well on a leash. A small quirk is that he HATES trains. We moved near train tracks and he will bark/howl through the night if he hears one (and with those ears he hears EVERYTHING). We also have allergies in the house and he requires a lot of grooming upkeep due to his coat. He is a very good boy and it was with a heavy heart we made this decision. I’m Mario ❤️ I may be a little guy, but I’ve got a big heart, lots of love to give, and I’m very ready for my happily ever after. I came to rescue from a crowded shelter where I was running out of time, but thankfully I got my second chance — and now I’m hoping my forever family is next! I’m a super friendly boy who loves meeting people. New friends? Amazing. Familiar faces? Even better! I’m always happy to see you and usually come with a wagging tail and cheerful little smile. I really just enjoy being part of the fun and close to my people. I also get along with other dogs and currently share my kennel area with two other male dogs. I do especially well with female dogs, though, because I can sometimes get a little bossy with other boys. What can I say? I like to think I’m in charge sometimes. But overall, I’m still a very good boy and do just fine with proper introductions and respectful dog friends. I’m not sure how I do with cats or young kids yet, but I’ve shown everyone here what a sweet, happy companion I can be. I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, so I’m all set and ready to start my next adventure with a family of my own. All I need now is someone to love me forever.
