Story
Name:  Charlie Age: 8 months Weight: 26 lbs  Adoption Fee: $350.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes  Good with cats?  He is a little too interested in cats so needs a cat-free forever home     Charlie found his way into the rescue when his owner was trying to rehome him at a dog park   He was taken by a Good Samaritan who wanted to make sure he ended up somewhere safe   Charlie’s mom is said to be a Corgi mix and dad is a Husky mix…so he’s got short legs and definitely took after mom with his appearance, but his coat is so much softer than it looks   Are you looking for a super sweet, playful, handsome puppy to give a forever home?   Charlie is all that and more!   Charlie is crate trained and does really well in his crate.  He’s a typical puppy who gets the zoomies and then wants to nap.  Charlie loves to play with other dogs so he’d love to have a dog friend in his forever home.     Please be realistic about your living situation before submitting an application. Charlie is still a puppy who very occasionally chews things he finds, would love to do an obedience training class and is expected to be somewhere around 30 lbs as an adult (perfect size!  Not too big or too small)  With his size, he can realistically live for 12+ more years and we want to place him in a forever home, not an “until” home.    He’s neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested  and micro chipped.    Don’t miss out on a wonderful new companion and get  your applications in now.    Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.          March 16, 2026, 12:18 am

Name:  Finn Age: 1 year Weight: 24 lbs  Adoption Fee: $300.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes  Good with cats?  No Type of home: Single family home.   He’s got the voice of a tenor and the work ethic of a town crier.   He’s quite the talker, so he’d do best in a home without shared walls—no apartments, condos  or townhomes, please   Finn found his way into the rescue when his owner was trying to rehome him at a dog park   He was taken by a Good Samaritan who wanted to make sure he ended up somewhere safe   Finn’s mom is said to be a Corgi mix and dad is a Husky mix…so he’s a wonderful combination of short legs and a fluffy coat    Are you looking for a super sweet, playful, gorgeous, and oh so soft pup to give a forever home?   Finn is all that and more!   Finn is crate trained and does well in it for reasonable periods of time.  He’s a young dog who gets the zoomies and then wants to nap.  Finn likes other dogs but needs a home without cats.  He’s great in the car so could be a wonderful companion to someone who likes to travel.     Please be realistic about your living situation before submitting an application. Story
Fenrir is a very sweet ~9 year old puppy who loves snuggles and attention. He has been a part of our family for nearly a decade but due to a recent move and allergies in the home we are looking to re-home him. He is very smart, trainable, and loving - but has minimal socializing with other dogs so he leads by barking. Despite a loud bark, he's never been aggressive towards other dogs. He does well with cats and kids. He loves to run free in a fenced in backyard but also does well on a leash. A small quirk is that he HATES trains. We moved near train tracks and he will bark/howl through the night if he hears one (and with those ears he hears EVERYTHING). We also have allergies in the house and he requires a lot of grooming upkeep due to his coat. He is a very good boy and it was with a heavy heart we made this decision. Please reach out with any questions.
