Story
Griffey has a lot of energy but loves to cuddle on the couch as well. He is very curious and loves to run around outside and explore. He also loves to snuggle up next to humans or door jams! Unfortunately Griffey cannot live around young children or babies. He is crate and house trained and walks on a leash. Griffey is intact and he is diabetic. His diabetes is well managed through two daily doses of insulin administered during meals. His diabetes does not affect him, he is as spunky as always!

Story
Henry is very shy, it will take some time for him to adjust, he loves other dogs, and is cautious of humans. He loves playing as long as there is a playmate for him, once he is with you for awhile he will start being curious and you can at that point use toys to lure him closer. Henry came in with another dog that was completely opposite and has seen been adopted out. You can pick him up with no issues. He does not run from you, just freezes. He filches at touch at first, but will relax if gently petted. He is a great playful dog who just needs time and patience. Henry must have a playmate or a dog to follow. A Physical secure fence is required. He will look for a way out in the beginning, then once he adjust he will stop. He is a flight risk and will bolt if given the opportunity. . He continues to make progress and is ready to find his forever patient home. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Story
Name:  Charlie Age: 8 months Weight: 26 lbs  Adoption Fee: $350.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes  Good with cats?  He is a little too interested in cats so needs a cat-free forever home     Charlie found his way into the rescue when his owner was trying to rehome him at a dog park   He was taken by a Good Samaritan who wanted to make sure he ended up somewhere safe   Charlie’s mom is said to be a Corgi mix and dad is a Husky mix…so he’s got short legs and definitely took after mom with his appearance, but his coat is so much softer than it looks   Are you looking for a super sweet, playful, handsome puppy to give a forever home?   Charlie is all that and more!   Charlie is crate trained and does really well in his crate.  He’s a typical puppy who gets the zoomies and then wants to nap.  Charlie loves to play with other dogs so he’d love to have a dog friend in his forever home.     Please be realistic about your living situation before submitting an application. Charlie is still a puppy who very occasionally chews things he finds, would love to do an obedience training class and is expected to be somewhere around 30 lbs as an adult (perfect size!  Not too big or too small)  With his size, he can realistically live for 12+ more years and we want to place him in a forever home, not an “until” home.    He’s neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested  and micro chipped.    Don’t miss out on a wonderful new companion and get  your applications in now.    Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. &#226&#128&#139Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.          June 1, 2025, 9:34 am

Name:  Finn Age: 1 year Weight: 20 lbs  Adoption Fee: $300.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes  Good with cats?  No Type of home: Single family home.   He’s got the voice of a tenor and the work ethic of a town crier.   He’s quite the talker, so he’d do best in a home without shared walls—no apartments, condos  or townhomes, please   Finn found his way into the rescue when his owner was trying to rehome him at a dog park   He was taken by a Good Samaritan who wanted to make sure he ended up somewhere safe   Finn’s mom is said to be a Corgi mix and dad is a Husky mix…so he’s a wonderful combination of short legs and a fluffy coat    Are you looking for a super sweet, playful, gorgeous, and oh so soft pup to give a forever home?   Finn is all that and more!   Finn is crate trained and does well in it for reasonable periods of time.  He’s a young dog who gets the zoomies and then wants to nap.  Finn likes other dogs but needs a home without cats.  He’s great in the car so could be a wonderful companion to someone who likes to travel.     Please be realistic about your living situation before submitting an application.
