Story
Fenrir is a very sweet ~9 year old puppy who loves snuggles and attention. He has been a part of our family for nearly a decade but due to a recent move and allergies in the home we are looking to re-home him. He is very smart, trainable, and loving - but has minimal socializing with other dogs so he leads by barking. Despite a loud bark, he's never been aggressive towards other dogs. He does well with cats and kids. He loves to run free in a fenced in backyard but also does well on a leash. A small quirk is that he HATES trains. We moved near train tracks and he will bark/howl through the night if he hears one (and with those ears he hears EVERYTHING). We also have allergies in the house and he requires a lot of grooming upkeep due to his coat. He is a very good boy and it was with a heavy heart we made this decision. Please reach out with any questions.

DNA Results Are In! 🧬🐾 The DNA results are officially in for the “Golden Girls”—and they definitely have an interesting family tree! 😂 Mom was a German Shepherd, and Dad was a traveling salesman… haha! Apparently, Dad got around because his DNA is a wild mix of Corgi, Border Collie, Chihuahua, and several other breeds. That boy was all mixed up! 🤣 But the best news of all? Their DNA results revealed no identified genetic health defects. These pups are happy, healthy, and absolutely perfect just the way they are! ❤️ Now that we know a little more about their family history, who’s ready to make one of these Golden Girls & Boy part of their family? Meet Dorothy! 💛 Dorothy is a sweet, playful little girl with a fun personality and a love for games! One of her favorite activities is playing “can you get this sock from me?” — she’ll happily turn anything into a fun puppy adventure. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality quickly shines through. Dorothy is learning that the world is a wonderful place and is ready to find a family who will give her the love, patience, and confidence to continue blossoming. With her playful spirit and gentle heart, Dorothy is sure to make a wonderful companion.

She’s as sweet as she is adorable, with a playful personality that shines through every day. She shares an especially close bond with her brother, Stanley. You’ll almost always find the two of them playing together, exploring their surroundings, or getting into puppy mischief. If something catches one of their attention, they always seem to wait for the other before taking off on their next adventure. Their friendship is truly heartwarming to watch. Sophia is a loving, happy puppy who is ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of cuddles to her forever family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Taffy. Taffy is a sweet puppy looking for the patient, loving family she deserves. She was owner surrendered through no fault of her own, and while she may be unsure of new people at first, she has so much love waiting to come out of her shell. Taffy did not receive the socialization she needed while growing up, so she needs a family who understands that trust takes time. She can be cautious when meeting new people and may need some time to feel comfortable. She also seems to have had some negative experiences with people touching around her neck and the back of her head. Because of this, she may have a slight reaction if someone reaches for or touches those areas before she knows and trusts them . She will need people who are patient, respectful of her boundaries, and willing to let her go at her own pace. Once Taffy gets to know you and realizes she can trust you, her demeanor completely changes. Her sweet and goofy personality really shines, and she becomes an affectionate, happy puppy who loves attention. She will even dance for you in return for some treats or attention! Taffy’s favorite thing in the world is a good back scratch, and once she trusts you, she will happily soak up all the attention she can get. Older/considerate kids only. Taffy is still just a puppy, and with patience, consistency, positive experiences, and plenty of love, we know she will continue to come out of her shell and become the playful, loving puppy she was meant to be. Taffy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevenetion. Her adoption fee is $350. To apply to adopt Taffy, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Taffy is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, due to state regulations, Taffy cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 27, 2026, 4:11 pm
