Story
We are an all-volunteer organization. Our adoption fee is $295. Please read this posting to answer most of your questions about me. Hello meet Amour a beautiful mix that was surrendered to the the Hope Fur Pets Rescue. I'm all up to date on vet care appropriate for my age including heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, microchip and all vaccinations and ready to be the newest member of your home! Please fill out our application an application is required in order to be considered: www.hopefurpets.com If you have any questions, please send an email to hopefurpets@gmail.com Amour was rescued from a 200+ dog hoarding case. She was severely scared, we couldn’t touch her and her skin was so bad. The worse skin case we had ever dealt with. It took lots of time and patience to gain any sort of trust with her. She was very aggressive but we were not giving up on her we saw the potential. She’s a fun and very energetic girl. She can run for hours. She will need a home with no other dogs, no kids, no other pets. Us fur-kids deserve a second chance. Thank you for supporting rescues who help ensure we get one! And please remember to spay and neuter your pets and neighborhood strays! While I was at the shelter, I couldn't believe all of the wonderful dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens who are homeless. Take it from me, being homeless is no fun! Application is required. No member of our organization receives proceeds from our adoption fees. All dogs have past experiences, preferences and personalities. Please always consider the personality and breed tendencies of any pup that you are interested in adopting to ensure that he or she will be the perfect fit for your home, for both your sake and his! Do not select a forever companion based on looks alone. Make this home his or her home for life!

Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. ALL our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequin.org Babette - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The name Bebette means God's Promise. We are known to be creative and adventurous. And are often independent thinkers. My promise to you is to try my very best to be a wonderful family member. Will you give me the chance to keep that promise? I come in at a mere 13lbs which is perfect for lap sharing, taking neighborhood strolls, tagging along on errands or just hanging out keeping you company. At around 3 years of age I'm house trained and out of the puppy destructive stage. Now that's a pawsome combo for my new family. I can be a tad bit shy sometimes but it doesn't take me long to warm up and an even shorter time if you're offering tasty treats!! I'm a pretty low maintenance kind of gal which just means it doesn't take me hours to get ready to accompany you on our activities!! You just say the word and I'm ready! I do really well with the other foster pups here and would do great having a playful sibling to chase around the yard stealing...err I mean sharing toys! If you're looking for an easy keeper to add to your family, that will be your faithful little cohort in whatever you may be doing, I just might be that gal!!!!

Story
Please contact Jaclyn (jacnbob@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. AJ is part of a litter of 6. They were found in an abandoned house after the renters had been evicted. We were told by the landlord and neighbor that their mother was a corgi. They were born in January 2022.  AJ has the long corgi body and the short chunky legs but the coloring of a Doberman. She has a bouncy personality and loves to play. She's very smart and learns very quickly. She  does well with other dogs but does want to play and chase cats and chickens. If you would like more information on AJ or our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry.June 5, 2023, 9:18 am

Story
Float (Flo, Florence Vivian) Flo he’s been in Rescue for over a year. She is not a typical dog. It does take her several weeks to bond to her person. She will need a very patient owner willing to put in the work. Once she bonds to you she is a totally different dog, affectionate, playful, and very snuggly. Unfortunately, those first few weeks she will need to stay on a leash at all times. If she feels she can run she will choose to. Even in a fenced yard you will not catch her and she will not return to you. I like to refer to her as a project dog! She would be ideal in a quiet home with a physically fenced yard. No loud small children as they really scare her with activityFlo gets along with other dogs and cats too!  At times she does try to guard her chosen person from other pets (after bonded!), but is easily redirected. Firm NO will stop the behavior and harmony resumes. other dogs also help her with going in and out to potty. It took 2 weeks taking her out on leash then another 2 weeks her leashes but allowing her to drag it before she started going in and out with no issues. A handful of times the attached leash was useful to catch her when something freaked her out and she wouldn’t return inside. If you think you’d be a great home for Flo please apply today!  Over a year in rescue is a long time and we know she’d make someone very happy. She’s so worth the effort it takes to make her feel safe and loved. ##1642669##
