Story
Dexter is an absolute sweet heart. When we got Dexter at 12 weeks the previous owners had him and his brother locked in a cat carrier in a garage. Dexter Carried a lot of trauma at a young age when we got him. We have cats and 4 small kids at home. Dexter is used to being around small kids but would prefer to be alone. Dexter would be a perfect only animal and takes a while to warm up to people. The only aggression we see is with small kids and animals that run from him. We absolutely hate doing this but he’s so unhappy here and we don’t want to risk our kids getting hurt. He has such good potential as an only pup. Dexter is 2 years old and fully potty trained. I adopted this little boy in May of last year. He has taken basic one two and three training and he is a wonderful companion.. you need to be experienced in pet language and understand that some dogs don't have the resources when they're puppies. So when he will take things and hide them and then destroy them. If you try to reach for it and grab it he made try to nip at you so you have to do a trade off. He is a very wonderful loving dog but you have to understand that when you adopt a rescue you don't know what you're getting into I've had a lot of training and been a dog trainer for 30 years so he and I have worked very hard at nipping this behavior in the bud. But the new home has to continue the training to make certain that he understands that nothing in life is free. He'll sleep on your bed keep you warm I do recommend that you watch him around small children although he's very friendly and loving him. It is very socialized and loves to go places with you

Mom was a German Shepherd, and Dad was a traveling salesman... haha! Apparently, Dad got around because his DNA is a wild mix of Corgi, Border Collie, Chihuahua, and several other breeds. That boy was all mixed up! But the best news of all? Their DNA results revealed no identified genetic health defects. These pups are happy, healthy, and absolutely perfect just the way they are! Now that we know a little more about their family history, who’s ready to make one of these Golden Girls & Boy part of their family? Estimated DOB: 5/22/26 Mixed breed 4 females, 1 male Currently 7-9 lbs. These adorable puppies were found abandoned in a box along the side of the road. While we don't know much about their past, we do know they are incredibly sweet, playful, and full of love. They've come a long way in just a few weeks. When they arrived, they were severely underweight and heavily burdened with parasites. Thanks to the care they received, they've made an amazing recovery and are now happy, healthy puppies ready to find the loving forever homes they deserve. The Golden Girls pups are current on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Our best guess on size as adults is 40-50lbs.
