Story
Fenrir is a very sweet ~9 year old puppy who loves snuggles and attention. He has been a part of our family for nearly a decade but due to a recent move and allergies in the home we are looking to re-home him. He is very smart, trainable, and loving - but has minimal socializing with other dogs so he leads by barking. Despite a loud bark, he's never been aggressive towards other dogs. He does well with cats and kids. He loves to run free in a fenced in backyard but also does well on a leash. A small quirk is that he HATES trains. We moved near train tracks and he will bark/howl through the night if he hears one (and with those ears he hears EVERYTHING). We also have allergies in the house and he requires a lot of grooming upkeep due to his coat. He is a very good boy and it was with a heavy heart we made this decision. Please reach out with any questions.

Story
This sweet girl was an owner surrender until she was adopted by a roommate 5 years ago, and then abandoned by the same roommate. Abby’s mom took on the responsibility of caring for her despite having her own pets. She had two feline brothers, one feline sister and one k9 brother. Abby is very protective and reactive to other dogs, so she would do well in a home where she’s the only pet. She is a senior and has some urinary leaking as a result, especially in her sleep. She loves walks, loves to play, and has high energy but loves a snuggle. She’s very sweet and very spunky. She does get separation anxiety and needs to be crated when left alone. We don’t know much about her history before we adopted her, but I suspect abuse and abandonment may have been at play, so she needs lots of love. Abby’s mom loves her- but recently got sick and had to move away to be treated. Treatments are very physically demanding and she is unable to give Abby the love and care she deserves.

Story
HI! My name is Pete. I am a sweet guy who is a little timid at times, but I am warming up nicely to everyone. I like sitting in your lap and give you kisses on the cheek. I walk really well on leash, so I am ready for any walks. I would love a squeaky toy just to rip it apart. I want to run and play with you. I do fine with other dogs and with kids. I do need cat tested if you have cats in the home. I will be ready soon for my new home.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.
