Thor is such a sweetheart. I don’t know his full breed but to me he looks like a German shepherd mixed with a dachshund. He’s a very timid dog. Protective. He loves to go on walks. He’s also an introvert prefers to be in his kennel if he can. He loves to play fetch.

Chester is very entertaining, energetic, and loves to go on walks with his favorite humans. He loves to snuggle with you even in small spaces on the sofa or recliner. He loves to play with other dogs, but can become somewhat boisterous in a nice way. He loves to play with toys and would benefit from ones that are heavy duty to avoid him chewing them to pieces. He is an amazing companion.

Adorable Gretchen is ready to wiggle her way right into your heart! She is a darling 6 ½ -month-old puppy (born approximately 10/30/25), weighing 10.8 pounds, with a beautiful black and tan coat. This sweet Dachshund / Chihuahua mix definitely takes after her Doxie side with her long little body and irresistible charm. Gretchen came to AFC with her sister, Gretel, who is also available for adoption. She was lovingly surrendered so she could find the forever family she deserves. Gretchen is current on her vaccinations, micro-chipped and is scheduled to be spayed soon, but she is ready to start meeting potential adopters now. She’s still a puppy, so she will need continued house training and leash training, but she’s already learning the routine of going in and out on command and is eager to please.
