Macie is a loving dog that would love more attention. unfortunately my household dynamics have changed and she went from a work at home parent to being by herself most of the day. We would love to see her go to a home where she has company throughout the day. She grew up with an older cocker spaniel but doesn't agree with other dogs simply because she wasn't exposed. She loves to play fetch and tug-o-war. She has had pet insurance her whole life so she's been seen regularly at Banfield for check ups and dental cleanings. We just want her to have a better life. Snickerdoodle was born on August 9, 2025. He is a Doxy mix who was adopted by an 80-year-old woman that had never had a dog before. Through no fault of his own he was given to us to find a new forever home. Snickerdoodle loves to play with his toys and would be happy as the only dog or as a companion for another dog. He does like to be the dominant dog of the bunch. Snickerdoodle loves to take a nap on your lap and get lots of pets, and he sleeps in his crate at night. He is used to using wee wee pads to go potty and is starting to go outside to do his business. Snickerdoodle would do best with children over the age of eight only because he can be a little bit mouthy while playing. He just needs consistency with training to teach him how to have a soft mouth and to work on basic commands. He would make a wonderful companion to anyone’s family. Snickerdoodle is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She’s 1 years old and she is an absolute sweetie pie. She’s very shy and she bark at new people but she’ll learn to get comfortable and love you. She is potty trained on pee mats and loves the outdoors. She does tend to get scared easily but she is super playful. My schedule got super busy and I am unable to give her the attention she needs. What I am looking for in a home for her is just super loving and caring people who can give her all the love and attention she deserves.

George came into us from another rescue. One of their advocates was able to rescue him on the street and take care of all of the medical to get him healthy. But they found that he was extremely fearful and they did not have the proper situation for him to try to work through his fear. He came to our rescue in the middle of May 2023. He is terrified of being touched. We are not sure if it was caused by abuse or if he's never experienced human touch. After working with him it's very clear that he would love to be loved he is just unsure how to proceed. He will need an adult who is patience and understanding with him but also confident enough to give him direction so that he can feel supported while working through his fears. A home with no children is recommended and he does really well with small confident and kind dogs.
