Story
7/7/25: This sweet girl came into the Animal Shelter as a stray, just about to burst with pups and not fully mobile on all four legs. She is being seen by a vet to determine the best way to deliver the pups. She will become available as soon as all her pups are whelped and weaned, anticipated to be early to mid-September. But you don't have to wait until then...if you are interested in this girl, fill out an application. Our goal is that as soon as she is done being supermom, she has her own place to land right away! She deserves to be pampered and cuddled for the rest of her life!

Story
We acquired Winston in June 2025 after his momma passed away. We have 2 other dogs, a male and female. We've noticed Winston doesn't get along well with male dogs and prefers women. He is housebroken but occasionally pees in the house. Unsure why, but does well with a dog door. When we first got him we didn't have a dog door and put out a pee pad and he would use it. We assume his momma used these as well. He doesn't chew on shoes but I go to Goodwill periodically to get him blankets, as he likes to chew them, so he doesn't get our blankets. He's a sweet dog and he still likes to play. He plays with our female dog daily. And he likes to chase me around the house. Unsure how old he is. Somewhere between 10-15. Doesn't appear to have any health conditions, other than being overweight, which we've been working on.

Story
Have you ever looked at a Border Collie and thought, "I wish it came in a travel size?" Well, the lab results are in (okay, were guessing), and Bear is the result of a Border Collie meeting a Dachshund (again, a huge guess!). At an estimated 6 months old and a compact 20 lbs, Bear is what we call a "Low Rider." He has the beautiful coat and intelligent eyes of a herder, but the ground clearance of a go-cart. Bear has been tested with children as young as 2 years old and passed with flying colors. He is gentle, sweet, and perfectly sized for tiny hugs. He absolutely loves car rides. Need to carry him when his little legs get tired? No problem- he is very portable! Bear is still a puppy, which means he is currently majoring in "Being Cute" and hasn't yet enrolled in "Potty Training 101." He needs a patient family ready to teach him the ways of a perfect gentleman. If you are looking for a short king with a big heart, Bear is ready to roll (literally, hes very close to the ground). Apply for him today at www.petsnpals.org! $350 adoption fee includes his neuter (scheduled for 2/18), vaccines, and microchip. Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
