Scooby is a 5 year old Dachshund Bully mix weighing approximately 35 pounds. He was surrendered when his owner lost her job and was forced to move in with relatives. You can see the sadness in his eyes ☹. He is very timid and laid back, complacent and mellow. Needless to say, he is very depressed and won’t even eat (not even treats). His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. At a solid 25 lbs, this 5 1/2yo possible dachshund/pittie mix is the definition of "travel-sized" perfection. She sports the classic long-and-low doxie build and a coat of bright sunshine, all topped off with a pair of iconic "satellite dish" ears. The Resilient Spirit: Goldie is a survivor who lost her first home after her original family became unhoused. She was hit by a car in October 2024 that left her temporarily paralyzed from the waist down after suffering a broken pelvis. She is a medical marvel; while her back legs may look a little "off-kilter" when she walks, she still has that goofy energy and can run, zoom and leap onto the couch for a cuddle session like a pro. The Daily Routine: Goldie is a trustworthy, non-destructive roommate who doesn’t require a crate. When you’re gone, she mostly just snoozes in her bed or burrows into blankets. She has a few 15-minute bursts of "goofy mode" per day for tug-o-war or fetch and will let you know when it's time to go out (or when it's time to eat). Otherwise, her absolute favorite pastime is getting endless belly scratches while melting into your side. She walks fine on a leash but can pull or plant if she sees or smells something interesting. Beanie is between 8-12 months ! Shes a happy go lucky ready to take on the world kind of girl. She isn’t laid back she’s just super happy and will lay in your lap while watching tv but she has the desire to play king of the mountain and get little happy wiggly zoomies. She loves to talk when she has an opinion and she identifies as a Whooing husky in these moments really getting her point across. It’s the funniest cutest little voice. She loves men! She loves children and she will knock a woman off her thrown and tell them she’s the princess ! But she loves women too she just knows how to make a man or a child adore her . I think it’s so cute to see her stomp her paw and whoo a grown man to make him get down on his knee to say hello. Beanie is a pound puppy. She found herself lost and picked up and turned over to a kill shelter at levy county animal services and the staff member brought little beanie to us at 10pm to get her safe and out of the system ! So she is loved right off the bat but you have to match her energy or she may become a frustrated little pup pup. She’s crate trained but not housebroke . She does believe it’s her castle so she needs some guidance on how to have those house manners. Patience and grace despite her care free personality she was still a pound puppy !
