Story
This is Randy. I adopted him in 2012 when he was 1. He was abused by his first owner. Randy was my best buddy but then I had kids and am a single mom which has made it really hard to give him the attention he needs. He just loves to love one person and will be attached to you if you let him. He doesn’t love other dogs specifically when he sees them walking outside. Thank you for considering Randy.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Madison, aka Maddie, is an approx. 2yo, 10 1/2-lb. spunky little doxie mix who gets along well with other dogs, kids and adults. We have not seen her around cats. She walks pretty well on a leash with just a bit of pulling, but she corrects easily. Crate training is a work in progress. She sleeps well through the night in the human bed - she wants to be where the other dogs and people are. She rides well in a car tethered in for safety. Maddie is house trained and will go through a doggie door to relieve herself. She loves to play fetch with tennis balls and will play keep away with the other dogs. She loves stuffies but can't have them because she tends to pull the stuffing out. Harder toys are more her style. She is a medium-to-high energy girl and gets the zoomies with her foster fur sibling, so for that reason we are preferring she have a fenced yard. But she also knows how to chill and become a little cuddle bug. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Madison, complete and app and tell us more about you.May 31, 2026, 3:35 pm

Story
Scooby is a 5 year old Dachshund Bully mix weighing approximately 35 pounds. He was surrendered when his owner lost her job and was forced to move in with relatives. You can see the sadness in his eyes ☹. He is very timid and laid back, complacent and mellow. Needless to say, he is very depressed and won’t even eat (not even treats). His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Please help him to feel loved again. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p169/Scooby_Doo.html

Story
Meet Brody and Brewer, an adorable bonded pair of Dachshund brothers from the same litter who are ready to find their Forever Home together! At two years old, these sweet boys are incredibly friendly, affectionate, and truly the total package. Brewer, the darker of the two, weighs 15 pounds, while his lighter brother Brody weighs 13 pounds. Both boys have wonderful personalities and are nothing short of perfect angels—they’re loving, well-mannered, and full of charm. They are housebroken, great with other dogs, and good with children (though they have not been kid-tested). They also absolutely love squeaky toys and will happily keep you entertained with their playful antics. Their combined adoption donation is $600, which includes their neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. If you’re looking to welcome two amazing companions into your life, Brody and Brewer are ready to fill your home with double the love and joy. For more information on how to adopt them and to begin your adoption journey, please visit https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/meet-our-dogs.html.
