This is Klaus! We believe that he is a 2 or 3-year-old Longhaired Dachshund mix. He currently weighs 16 pounds. Klaus came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on August 24th. He was surrendered to us with his parents and siblings when his previous owner could no longer afford to care for them. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he is a quiet and sweet guy with lots of love to give. He keeps his kennel clean and potties as soon as he gets outside. He is a little nervous in new surroundings so he will need some time to adjust to a new home but we are confident he will warm up to his new family quickly. After he learned that he was safe with us, he started to show us love almost immediately! His adoption fee is $600. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, neuter, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $40 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee. Hi, I’m Winnie! I am a 9 year old Cocker/Weenie mix. I would do best in a home as the only dog (I do not seem to mind cats). I would also prefer a home with no young children. As I get older, it seems I am over the shenanigans kids bring about. I came into my foster’s clinic with my last family. They could not afford to get my leg checked out and wanted to put me down. I was taken in by a really nice vet tech who wants to find me a home! My leg issue is managed with a very cheap medication, and I do not have anymore symptoms! I like to go on walks, but can be as lazy as you. I am spayed and up to date on vaccines.

I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! We are purebred dachshunds, with slightly different colored patches but all dachshund ALL the time! We are your standard dachshund size and have the temperament that would be great as a binge watching buddy, gaming friend or even a professional nappers (seriously we're that good.) Chico does have a seizure disorder that is controlled well with phenobarbital. His seizures were only about 1 a week but no one wants to let it happen so the meds were started and work GREAT!
