Jack is a dachshund probably Papillion mix.  He is the perfect lap dog!  He will come and sit pretty and wave his arms in the air like he just doesn't care!  He was doing fine in the foster pack, though he is way too interested in the girl dogs for their liking.  Though he has been neutered now, he still is very into girls.  He is much better with the dachshund beagle male mix in the house, who is clearly the alpha.  Jack does not like puppies, which may be some resource guarding for the human's attention.  He loves all humans!  Has had great fun on some outings and enjoys meeting new people.  Jack has some skin issues and is currently taking allergy medicine, which may need to continue in the future. Biscuit is an 8 year old male, long haired dachshund. He is a celebrity graduate of our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program where he captured the hearts of so many. He was rumored to be the Assistant Warden as he marched around like he owned the place. Despite his short stature, he was respected by all. Biscuit is ready to "get out of jail", retire his warden status and live out his days in a comfortable home. A quiet, yet somewhat active adult home will be best. He is, after all, a dachshund. He's got the attitude. He gets along well with other dogs if they dont crowd his space. He does not get along with cats and he doesnt have the tolerance for children. An old episode made him leary of being picked up and snuggled. He must be on a fish based kibble and Apoquel during high allergy peaks helps with this skin. For all you dachshund lovers, this guy is quite the character. Lilly is a very loving and kind dog! She’s 2 years old and she is amazing with kids. She’s also the most wonderful cuddle bug for this who love to cuddle. She’s a burrower so she will sleep underneath your blankets with you. She absolutely loves to be outside. If you are looking for a lovable energetic dog who also just loves to lounge around and cuddle she is the perfect one for you.
