Story
Freddy is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky boy who is great with dogs and kids! He loves to do big zoomies in a circle, then race right back to you for cuddles. After a long day of playing fetch—where he happily chases the ball, even if he doesn’t always bring it back—Freddy is more than ready to snuggle in. If you’re on the couch, expect him to curl right into your back and soak up the love. Freddy is a joyful, affectionate boy who is absolutely ready to find his forever home. If you want it shorter or extra playful, I can tweak the tone too Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet January – Tiny Package, Giant Heart ❄️🐾 2 years old • 8 lbs • Dachshund/Min Pin mix Don’t let her petite size fool you — January may weigh in at just 8 pounds, but she’s carrying around enough love to fill a whole house. This little black-and-tan sweetheart is gentle, soft-natured, and delightfully dainty. When she first meets new people, January can be a touch shy… but give her about 30 seconds and a kind word, and suddenly she’s your loyal best friend forever. Think of her as a slow-blooming flower with a very enthusiastic tail. Once she feels comfortable, January is all about quiet cuddles, cozy naps, and sticking close to her favorite humans like the world’s cutest little shadow. She’s not loud, she’s not demanding, and she definitely doesn’t need to be the center of attention — she’s just happy to be included. January’s Resume (and it’s impressive): • Great with other dogs • Friendly with cats • Wonderful with kids and adults • House trained and dog-door savvy • Up to date on vaccines • Professional couch companion Around the house, January is an easygoing, low-maintenance kind of gal. She’s got the whole “house manners” thing down and fits beautifully into a routine. Basically, she’s the roommate we all wish we had — tidy, polite, and never eats the last slice of pizza. Her idea of a perfect day? A little sunshine, a few gentle head scratches, maybe a short stroll, and a soft spot next to you on the couch. She’s not looking for wild adventures — she’s looking for a forever person to adore. If you’re hoping for a sweet, loving little companion who will quietly steal your heart (and maybe your favorite blanket), January just might be your perfect match. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let this tiny treasure warm up your world! 💛🐾

Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Have you been searching high and low for the cutest little Dobby look-alike? If so, look no further! Meet Jellybean! Jellybean is a 4.5-year-old, 10lb dachshund ready to find her perfect family! Jellybean is a sweet girl in need of a second chance on life, and she has been striving in her foster home! Jellybean is good with other dogs, cats, and humans. Jellybean is not kid tested. Jellybean can be a little skittish around new people, but after about a day her sweet and outgoing personality will shine through. Jellybean loves to be cuddled and pet (she specifically loves a belly rub or a scratch behind her ears). Jellybean hasn’t really figured out the purpose of toys yet, but she is eager to learn. She loves treats though and is willing to play with any toys that come with a treat reward (she loves a Kong Wobbler with some peanut butter)! Jellybean is a sweet girl and she has a great temperament. However, she will need some time, patience, and training to become the perfect pooch. Jellybean will need some help potty training, and she doesn’t love the crate or a leash, but she is still eager to learn! Jellybean has done a great job with a regular bathroom schedule, being crated when her foster family goes to work, and she is okay having a leash on. Jellybean will need some continued dedication and patience, but she is a very gracious girl and she will thank you for sticking with her through the learning process! If you want a sweet personality and an adorably funny face, consider adopting Jellybean today! Jellybean is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
