KASH is the cutest little redhead. He's a chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua) type mixed breed boy, about 4 years old and fully grown at 15 pounds but naybe a pound overweight. Kash is a sweet playful boy who loves his toys and playtime. He came from a multi-dog environment and is accustomed to getting along with others but can get snarky over his food bowl. Kash is timid in new situations and with new people and needs a little time to get to know you. But once he knows you, Kash is ready to be your bestie. If you'd like to meet this adorable boy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet little Kash at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Introducing this elegant lady! Hi, my name is Precious. I am an adorable miniature Dachshund and I have been deeply loved my entire life but sadly my owner passed away and I had no where to go. Lucky for me I was brought into a loving foster home. I am 13 years old and mostly blind, but don’t let that turn you away, I have so much life and love to give! I am still spunky and love following my foster mom into every room! I am fantastic with my foster siblings, I’m quite in my crate, and I love a good nap! I know there is a loving home out there for me, that will see past my age and want to open up their couch for a little couch potato. Apply and adopt me today!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
